They are underrated cause of the typical inability of the metalhead adapt to other genres except the preferred one.I even met metalheads that only listen to 1, maybe 2 bands at max....everything else, in their opinion is childish, retardic gayshit.Most of them don`t even bother to search or to explore new/other genres. It` hard to believe that a fan of Emperor or Decapitated or Cannibal Corpse or Vader will enjoy Insomnium as we do.

They are so down to earth... and I can understand what they mean.

Last september I saw them live, frontrow. I could touch Niilo his feet :P More important, i could just feel the passion in their play, and read it from their faces. They really do what they like. To bad that they are so underrated and unknown, but maybe that is what still makes them so pure.

Best band ever, period.

Insomnium is so awesome. My blood brother came to their gig last December in Paris, and then came home and said: "I watched, saw, listened to Insomnium, now I can die without regret." :D

I hope that they will come to San Diego, US someday. I really want to see their gig.

Very nice video, the interviews seemed very honest and easy, since this is the first I've seen of these guys speaking Finnish I suppose your native tongue is more comfortable to speak.

Yeah, what the guy said. He means most bands out there are now aiming to get famous, instead of playing. The bands aren't even putting effort in to their music any more. Tons of melodic death metal bands do nothing except for rip off Judas priest's pain killer style riffs (and have EMG pickups installed to pull that one of) with hardcorish growls. Then we have the wave that rips off power metal's fast pace, with keyboards set to bells or tight strings with Kalmah style vocals. Absolutely no try.

This is one amazing awesome band which unfortunately has been underrated for the past years. It's over now, people know 'em. They are one of the best melodeath metal band nowadays. And thats why Insomnium will be touring with Dark Tranquillity!! ..\m/..
