Same here, wow is incredible. From the loot system, to the pvp system, its full enjoyment, I currently play aoc, with 5 80's, 3 lvl 59's and afew ws and uh toons. But aoc is growing old on me waaay faster than wow ever has or ever will. Getting ready to sub back to wow. And im 24. I need content, something other than boredom.

I got to agree lineage II is a great game too but i get pissed when i get killed i lose exp.and i have to buy adena with actual money! AoC is tight tho way better graphics and no 10 year olds playing like WoW

I played a lot of mmo's. And it's my top list:

1. Lineage 2 (the best game ever made)

2. Cabal (quite good but skilling is very boring)

3. AoC (not so good)

4. WoW (i played it for half year and i think that it's one of the worst mmo's but it's popular because it's promoted (many comercials and so on...and it's also made in USA)

5. Metin 2 (it's even worse than Wow...)

6. Tibia (i have better games on my cell phone...)

well if u know how2 play u actually dont need any leet gear... tho wow pvp is now dominated by recilience and it makes it even harder

this game is far away from ten times better but a good match for wow yeah. Graphics looks boring. Layout = made in one day and action: press up down left right while standing still. Can't understand why its so much hype about this game

believe me, .necro's will be powerfull at higher levels,..

No Doubt about that, it will be a dotting, buffing lifeleeching kinda dps caster, .with many minions,.

But he will be one of the hardest classes to play and that makes him the underdog of AoC :)

necros being the hardest class to play.......lol, they are a pet class, so they will hardly take any damage in PvE. As for PvE there pets can surround people and hold them there as they cast. They dont sound that hard to play to me.

dude, .get your knowledge right before you comment. The pets dont tank for you, if pets attack a mob in pve, the necro himself get aggro and not the pets. It's nopt like in wow rofl.

you do not understand what i just said lol...

You are not able to walk through people or stand ontop of people, necros can have multiple pets, if they surround the person the other guy cant move....unless he cuts down the pets. You get your knowledge right.

you know that the necro pets do not have collision detection so people can and will run straight through your pets. As a level 51 necro I would know.

So um, i got a question, since you have a pretty high level necro what do you think of the class, overall that is, i'm gettin this once i get some box upgrades and i'm either playing this or the Demonologist, but i'll only play demo if these guys suck so er, yea, are they fun to play, i heard you can become a lich and whatnot?

What is the spell you keep casting that's AoE and takes forever to cast? Don't you have dots and direct damage?

I want to play necromancer but something just doesn't seem right... Your pets are hitting for less than 20 damage? Hopefully necro gets alot more powerful at higher levels, because all the necro videos i've seen thus far look pretty gimp. That or else no one knows what they are doing

What are your PCs Specs. I did not run this beta on a good PC at all and I couldnt even see the spell effects for my Necro. Still I loved this game!!!

Pentium D 940 3.2Ghz CPU

2Gb DDR2 533Mhz Ram

XFX 8800 GT XXX Video Card

Windows XP Pro OS

Ran everything maxed at 16xQ AA in 1280x1024 resolution. I would get 40-60FPS out of combat and 20-35FPS or so in full out, 12 people hitting combos on the screen, heavy combat.

It's Beta so it's hard to tell how this is going to run at launch. I saw a neat suggestion on the beta forum that may have upped my FPS a lot with no quality loss but I didn't get a chance to try it. Hard for me to comment. My FPS didn't change at min resolution on lowest settings to any higher than what I posted above at those high settings. Then again, it's beta. I expect the game to be optimized a lot more at launch so we should see decent performance boosts from what we saw in the beta.
