regular scotch tape works well with dungeon tiles. doesn't damage them at all. tape down the secondary layer of ties before laying the polycarbonate sheet at you should be fine! thanks for the video, it gave me some great ideas =]
As an extra bonus, you can use dry (or wet) erase markers on the poly sheet. If you don't want to pay Home Despot prices, you can usually get cut-to-measure sheets at your local plastic supplier for much less, especially if you can pull from their scrap bin.
