I am an atheist, I put up a silver tree with black and purple stuff on it. :l And I got gifts for my family. That's it. Christmas is not even about Christ. Just so people know, Jesus really was born in September - October (says the Bible). Christmas is about Saint Nicholas, the Catholic church at the time didn't know when Jesus was born and picked Christmas as a way to cover up a pagan holiday. So yeah now you know. Not hating on anyone's beliefs that's just the facts.

I'm Jewish, well a quarter, but I don't really celebrate anything nowadays. I just do what whoever else doing. I don't believe in celebrating Christmas, but I loove christmas time for some reason.

"what am I doing… I don't know…" hahaha I found that oddly entertaining :) I celebrate Christmas… I don't go apecrap over it but yeah my family is *christian* (-.-) so I celebrate it with them. I'm also Italian so there's a LOT of family get togethers, but it's not like it's with people I don't know, I'm with my aunts/uncles/grandparents/cous­ins/etc all the time. It's generally nice. Lots of food too.

This atheist, for xmas: if I have any x-mas-celebrating friends whose families live out of town and they dont have plans that year, I spend it w/them so they wont be alone on their big holiday. If everyone else has plans, then I get a whole day to myself! Sleep in, eat whatever I want, do whatever I feel like, yayyyy! :D One of my fav winter things is holiday food and drink, everything's all pumpkin gingerbread spice pepperminty goodness. :) Also, that it's not a billion degrees out, lol

atheists, the ones that do christmas, put up a tree and lights and decorations and shit and give presents, but those decorations usually dont include a manger or angels or crosses or anything jesusy at all, unless its a family heirloom, and obviously they dont do church. ..atleast thats how it is in MY house. we celebrate the memories-tradition-commercial x-mas, as opposed to the praise jesus goddy-god-god christmas that isnt even historically accurate.

@96Bethlything an opinion is something that cant be right or wrong. if there was a jesus, the location and time of the year thats supposed to have happened is very improbable. it also should be said that dec.25 (or there abouts) was originally a pagan holiday in ancient rome that they just decided to let the birth of christ fall on to make integration less jarring for the people during the christian transition. christ was most likely born in spring.
