Without a doubt (as most of us now know), climate change is the largest hoax perpetrated on mankind. That being said, this is a beautiful song even though the lyrics make no sense at all. MJ knows that now, but that is another subject for another day.

Honestly nerz, it has everything to do with "faith". When we elevate our ability to control the uncontrollable (the temperature of the earth specifically), we place ourselves to be equal with God. That is where I draw the line in this argument.

With all due respect my friend, you are incorrect. Not only did you totally miss the message of the song, but have you watched the MJ movie that was just released on DVD?
He made it quite clear with his comments after rehearsing this song that this was the message he intended. Futhermore, he made reference to Copenhagen and the Obama adminstration stating, "we have 4 years to get it right".
Please don't be offended at my comments.

@kevcozzz i can assure you that i am not offended. everyone is entitled to their own opinions. and no i am not a die hard MJ fan so i have not seen the movie. i just really love this song. and i am afraid that you might have misinterpreted my comment in some way. i was saying that it is about the wrongs that are being done to this planet by us. the global genocide of all things natural. extinction due to over hunting, and even global warming which is true (blown out of proportion but true)

well, here is hoping you do look at it! People need to be informed. YouTube provides a forum for entertainment, but also for education. We have got to get over the hype being fed to us about "climate change". These people are wanting to spend billions of YOUR tax dollars to "fix" this supposed problem.
We we need to wake up and do some reseach before we bite the bait!

@kevcozzz some damaging things might be a bit of an understatement at best. while i do believe in God, i most likely have slightly different beliefs then you, so i do not think it appropriate to bring faith up in this. whatever we do, has a direct effect on the environment. every car we drive is harmful, generating electricity (other that solar and wind) damages the environment. every animal that we kill for sport or only one part of their body is a direct insult to whatever God we believe in.

Honestly nerz, it has everything to do with "faith". When we elevate our ability to control the uncontrollable (the temperature of the earth specifically), we place ourselves to be equal with God. That is where I draw the line in this argument.
Let me also compel you not to compare "cars we drive" to "killing for sport". There is a huge difference there!

Well, here is the point. I will admit that man has done some irresponsible and/or damaging things to this earth, but I have seen a great reversal in that trend in the last 30 years. People are being led to believe that our behavior can actually affect the temperature of the earth. If you think that through, its reaches levels of absurdity that are seriously unbelievable! God is in total control of the temperature and when we place ourselves above Him, we are in a dangerous place!

I had never really given thought to the content of this song, til now. It's REALLY powerful, a true chant for life and for our Mother Home. I hope we all can still do something before it is too late. And the part where things revert to how they used to be, gives me the goosebumps!!

I tell you there are couple of people who watch Michael's videos everyday and I would see their comments on nearly all of Michael's videos. They spend more hours watching Michael's videos than his fans, and post more comments than Michael's fans which make me believe that's it's their full time job. Ha ha ha

It really is sad what some people do to animals intentionally. You don't have to be an activist to at least C.A.R.E. Afterall, God did leave the world to us to look after.
