I was wondering when you'd do another one of these! I admit the shot of Lyra setting off the alarm doesn't flow so smoothly with the following shot. Dascottjr's idea of an exterior shot bridging the two Lyra ones together sounds like a good idea. Still, this is very good work considering what you've got to work with. Are there any other ones on the way?

Yeah it's a tough one to do with the lack of supporting footage. I'm just about to do a test of dascottj's idea. I'll report back on how it goes. Glad you've liked the videos though.

Yes there will be more! A mock trailer showing my cut of the film, a final of Lyra being captured by the bears, a short documentary showing some of the smaller cut scenes and a look at scenes that didn't make the final cut, a reconstruction of the alternative intro, and possibly more - they're all on the cards.

Between that shot where she hits the alarm, and when she's running in the hall with all the kids coming out, I'd put some kind of a shot, maybe the outside of the building, with audio of the alarm going off...just so it's less of a jump cut. I haven't seen the movie in a while, so I don't know what you have to work with. Looks good, though. Best of luck with this.

That's a great idea dascottjr, I don't want to make it look too comical, but I'll give that a go and see what it looks like. Thanks for the suggestion :) It's a tough part due to the lack of footage and your idea could help. I think I have an external shot that isn't used.
