  • It would be funny if it like 0:28-

Toad: Luigi was kidnapped by a monster that lives here.

Luigi: I think you need glasses.

  • i like the name bouldergeist^^

i am german and as if you may know poltergeist is a german word originally and if you are german and you hear it the first time in english it really sounds ridiculous... and the name bouldergeist is even funnier xD i just like it^^

  • BEWARE OF BOULDRGEIST!!!!!!!!

  • 4:35 what happened to the staircase made of rocks that was floating there?

  • @Pingu42779 Maybe Bouldergeist destroyed it.

  • @Overhazard no the rocks he is made out of are from the thing

  • which galaxy is this?

  • @ThePikaichu Should be right there in the description.

  • @Overhazard NM, I got it in the video.

  • Now this mission would've been so much easier if it were called

    Super

    Chris Redfield

    Galaxy

  • ive goten 86 stars and i've beaten the following bosses Dino Piranha

King Kaliente (1st and 2nd appearence)

    Bugaboom

    Megaleg

    Kamella (1st and 2nd appearence)

  • My friend let me borrow this game and i don't remember fighting this boss...

  • omg bouldergeist's hands are as big as him...lol XD

  • Wow. A daredevil run of that? I need more practice

  • @MarbleScratch are you kidding i seen a 8 year old beat that without dieing

  • Notice that I made that comment 9 months ago.

  • Luigi purple coins in Toy Time Galaxy is the hardest in my oppinion.

  • This boss is fun and easy to battle with.

  • If Super Mario Galaxy is this awesome, I can't wait for the next Super Mario game! And I bet I would love this game if I had it. :/

  • @Swiinetheguitarist I heard that they're going to make/already made Super Mario Galaxy 2.

  • @tyomcha1

Yeah I know, I've seen the trailer :D It's amazinggggg

  • 0:28:

Toad thing: Luigi was kidnapped by a monster that lives here!

Luigi: Toad is blind. I'm right here.

    Director: CUT

  • lol i was just thinking that!!! XD

    *btw,its a toad. =)

  • I love Fighting this boss i still cant believe i bought double stacked health and i didnt lose any waste of 30SB

1 Of Da Best game ever (after Ocarina Of Time)

  • lol youd think bouldergeist needed hand cream because of those cracks, :P ok that was sad joke :S

it was a love/hate situation with this boss for me. i kept getting hit at the final blow bits, thank god i had a double health mushroom before the fight

  • Great job. This is my favorite boss in game, but did you know you can shoot the rocks that the monster shoots by star bits.

  • Yes, I do. I just prefer not to shoot Star Bits.

  • Overhazard, did you know you can hold multiple Bomb Boos with one swing?

Artrocks, that SMB3 reference is fromout the second level of world 1. I believe (sp?) there are more stages with that music in SMB3, but the stage i mentioned feautered it first.

  • And I've beaten the following bosses:

    Dino Piranha

    King Kaliente (1st appearence)

    Bugaboom

    Megaleg

    Kamella (1st appearence)

So I'd say I'm doing pretty good so far! You?

  • I don't know. The game moves pretty fast. But if you're excited about these early parts of the game, you'll probably be REALLY excited seeing more of it.

  • I agree with you, Bouldergeist's daredevil run gave me a lot of trouble on my first time too. I'd still say the Luigi Purple Coins (Toy Time) mission is the hardest in the game, though. (Have you uploaded that one?)

  • I've uploaded that one, and I'd agree with you that Luigi's Purple Coins is the hardest mission in the game.

  • god i remember this boss. but you make him look like a cake walk. bravo.

  • I finally have a Wii! SMG is the first game I have for it, but I'm having trouble making Mario move with the Nunchuk. Can you help me?

  • You make Mario move as you would for Mario 64 or Mario Sunshine: jsut tilt the control stick i the direction you want Mario to move in.

  • The problem is he won't move in that direction. In fact he runs in another direction and doesn't stop even if he hits a wall

  • Then it means that you had the control stick tilted in a certain direction when you turned on the Wii, plugged the Nunchuk into the Wii Remote, or put the batteries back in.

ALWAYS keep the control stick in the neutral position until you start playing.

  • Never mind. My dad got it to work. So far, I've discovered 3 galaxies: The Good Egg, Honeyhive, and Loopdeeloop galaxies. Surfing 101 is hard!

  • It's a pretty big roadblock--but once you clear it, you'll be a lot better at the game. The game's difficulty goes up by quite a bit after it.

  • Ok, now I've unlocked the following galaxies:

    Good Egg Galaxy

    Honeyhive Galaxy

    Flipswitch Galaxy

Loopdeeloop Galaxy (still didn't clear it yet)

    Bowser Jr.'s Robot Reactor

    Space Junk Galaxy

Sweet Sweet Galaxy (I still don't get what the Super Mario Bros. 3 reference is, even though I have the game)

Rolling Green Galaxy (It took me forever to beat)

  • Lol, I named a Regirock after this dude. This is one of my favorite bosses. He's hard, but not too hard. Not the kind that you never want to battle again.

  • How did you name your Regirock "Bouldergeist" if it's 12 letters long?

  • Well, I called it "BoldrGeist". Sorry for not being exact.

  • The red mushroom you could have bought was a Mega Mushroom like in MKWii, right?

  • no, it makes your health reach 6 instead of normally having it at 3.

  • Why are you Luigi??

  • After beating the game, getting all the green stars, and regular stars or 120 of them you can have the choice to play as... LUIGI!!!

  • you were running way faster than him.

  • Spinning the Bomb Boos looks pretty fun.

  • Bouldergeist sure is no joke. A perfect boss to remember. I wish if he's the next boss in Mario Kart Wii. Don't you all agree?

  • This boss with Daredevil comet is really annoying.

  • i mean this level's version

  • is it ok if you could do the matter spllater onr,but this levels verdion?

  • I've already uploaded "Matter Splatter Mansion."

  • whenever i battled him at night, IT CREEPED ME OUT!

  • nice, i love this monster

  • If you have trouble with the spiders, hitting them with star bits makes them completely harmless for a while...

The Toads act like they know there are two Luigis.

    "Hey, Luigi! You saved us!"

    "We got lost with Luigi..."

    Thanks for filling my request.

  • Oh, and you can shoot the rocks Bouldergeist throws at you with star bits while they're still in the air, which destroy them. You still get bomb boos from black rocks, and its useful for impatient people or just dodging rocks.

  • They do? I thought they make the swinging spiders swing even more.

Or, of course, the Toads could just lke to refer to Luigi in the third person.

  • if you hit them a second time while spinning, they die.

  • Ineresting to know. I rarely shoot Star Bits since I want to work up to 9999 and get the watermelons.

  • I can't do this one on Daredevil. Way too hard me.

  • The trick is get in close like Overhazard does. It becomes much easier to avoid his attacks and it becomes much easier to swing bomb boos at him.

  • Thanks

  • man i hate this boss but i beat him with the daredvil run and great job defeating him

  • I love these types of levels in Mario games.

    Great video.

  • I love those little bomb ghosts. They're among my favorite enemies in the game because they're so unique. It's too bad they only show up in this level, though I guess they're only truly useful here. I find it odd that walking into Bouldergeist's hands don't cause damage. This battle is best fought up close then. Otherwise, you'd be hitting his hands with the ghosts, and that could cause this to take longer than it should.

  • I like the Bomb Boos too. The Mario brothers get their biggest comeuppance against the Boos by turning their tongues against them to whack them at things.

And yeah, though it might make you dizzy, Bouldergeist is a lot weaker from close-range.

On an unrelated note, the new YouTube thumbnail system sucks. Take a look at the three thumbnails used to represent this video--Luigi running toward the mansion, Luigi talking to the Luma Shop guy, and the Star appearing. No Bouldergeist at all.

  • So Luigi... saved... himself?wtf?

  • Apparently, he did. What an assertive guy. And the Toads refer to him in the third person.

  • Wow, the star power song is exactly the same as Mario for the N64! (Which was the last adventure-type Mario game I've played.) That's good. This game sure makes good use of the Wii's motion controls!
