I can explain this for you. Nessler/Danielson were on ESPN back then. This game took place on Saturday October 5 1996, and ESPN ran into a major scheduling conflict because they had two MLB Division Series playoff games to cover at the same time that this game was to be shown (12:00 PM EST). ESPN showed the Yankees/Rangers game while ESPN2 had the Orioles/Indians. This game was not shown nationally as a result, but ESPN produced the game as they already had their crew on site.
