Giving spiders the ability to climb was a bullshit move on Notch's part. It took ages to spider-proof my outer fortess wall and all of my structures. It also fucked up The Labyrinth Of Doom (it's epic, search it up on YouTube)

@7Orbit7 They dont fall and climb on the walls.. Ive fixed it though, using netherrack and fire.

@FireMahLaz0Rz Hmm like a month and a total of about 24 hours. Carving that out with stone picks take ages lol. And the design? I made it myself which took a lot of time to perfect. It was hard to get the water flowing just right. -No fancy collection point/doors/levers needed.. The drop rate of the trap is tremendous.

@molten2metal Tips: Use diamond picks, as i did, and a vertical glassdoor with sticky pistons (use a lewer to open and close, open/close the glassdoor fast so the items fall down, then you collect those without worry about creepers falling in your head, they fall on the glass instead, and i got spiders too, but i need to effectivise my spawner, as i dont got more gunpowder than the best nights on my creeper hunts :S

@molten2metal Have now expanded, so i needed to switch to a lava grinder. But that doesnt work for spiders so they will be outsorted and killed by another lava stream. Efficiency: 536 items/hour
