Peter, Paul, James, all of the apostles preached the message of salvation, not just Peter. No one is ignoring what Peter had to say, we just don't ignore what all of the other apostles had to say. We listen to them all. Washer's treatment of the text is correct. Those who are true believers will continue to declare Jesus as Lord even in the face of death or persecution. The text is not refering to a 1 time event where a person claims they believe in Christ in front of a congregation.
Your only saved by obeying Acts 2:38.......Peter, not Paul gave the Salvation message, why do churches ignore what Peter had to say, but love to jump over Acts 2:38 to what Paul had to say? He still took romans 10:9 out of context.........
