I got to admit this game was the most beautiful game I have ever played and I'm not talking about the chicks that you play with. I hear this game came close to using all the blueray disc space. Kinda unlikely when this game only last about 8 hours tops.

Its not when all the sound, music and dialouge in the game is highest quality possible.

And the visual quality is very high too.

I love this game, but you guys have to relax it is a hack and slash game, but it is not a freakin copy og Gow or DMC, wich I think is a crappy game.

and it is not ninja gaiden either.

Lol laden...Ok lets begin with, you upgrade your weaps in god of war with what? red orbs! oh yeah and what do you use in DMC?...Oh yeah red orbs! you smash statues and such in GoW to get red orbs...hmm what do you do in Dmc...THE SAME, green orbs = life LIKE IN DMC. your fucking blind dude

so the upgrade system and life is made of orbs? is that the whole game? lots of games use orbs or something to do those, and you cant really do much else... but the combat system and gameplay is what might have been copyed.. like the blades on chains and the way you are told to press a button to jump from rope to rope and so on

To all of you who keep complaining about Heavenly Sword copying from God of war, you should really play Devil May Cry and think about how much in God of War is taken from DMC, so dont whine about copying when a whole effin lot in GOW = DMC, and just so you know the first DMC was released 4years before GOW so DMC did it first!

i think the same... its reeeaally different. the gameplay of gow is muuuuuch smoother as dmc. dmc is faster and not so smooth.. and its much more grinding then gow but it has a lot more style in it. but the story is great in both. its a purely matter of taste^^. is that right? my english is still in training

God of War was a alot better than this.

I played it for half an hour and the only good bit was where you were the little girl the bow and arrows. The fighting is repetitive and too simple. Not enough different combos or moves.

I give this a 5 out of 10 just because of the acting for the cutscenes and graphics

this game has some of the greates oscar worthy voice acting ive ever seen sad thing is gamers know nothin bout acting thats y they dont realize this no wonder gamers r criticize 4 their lack of art even if the game suck at least it achieved some of the highest directing ever great dialogues, realistic motion capture nice voice work(anna torv) i really want to see a second regardless if ninja theory isnt gonna do it or not n i wanna c nariko again and oh yeah nariko is fine she got a nice booty

The gameplay is NOT different. You must have not played God of War. Swords on chains, she has a sword on a chain. You brutally kill people by swinging your weapon around. And...Well, pretty much the same considering there's not much else to go on.

actually y should play it. it's much more different than it seems. The combos are different, theres different fighting styles, stances, the weapons are different, the story is completely different, even the gameplay and bosses are far different from each other. Oh and you don't have the timed button pressing as in GoW. It looks the same but is actually quite different. this is a pretty solid game but the replay value of it sucks. Buy, Play, Trade in for God of war.

yea I feel the same way the first thing I thought when I heard that they weren't going to make HS2 was that they just wanted to make more money with their new IP I would have no problem with this if they didn't say that HS was supposed to be a trilogy a mean they should just finish it and stop being so money hungry and actually care about the gamer and not the profit... jeez everything nowadays is always about money damn it makes me sad to see such things >_>
