Did Mark Kozelek's music just end a dispute on Youtube? Dear God, does his power know no bounds?! (Sorry, you just don't see that very often on Youtube, especially regarding music.)
@jorgekluney I said i do not agree all of the songs on this album are melodic as you call them,and for me this one is the weakest on the album,im not saying that its bad im saying it lacks the progressivnes of the other songs...
@blackmanorigins Nah, so many of the other songs break off into the typical guitar plucking moments. Where it seems like Kozelek is doing more practicing something he thought sounded neat, over and over and over.
This is by far one of the better (best) songs on the album. There's a reason it was released early.
@blackmanorigins Curious about "lacking progressiveness". What does that mean? It seems that you put a hallmark on progressiveness. As if "trying to be different" is always good. I think you and I have a fundamental different view on these things. "Progressive" for it's own sake seems silly to me. "Progressive" to simply escape the "traditional" also seems silly to me.
