  • No im not you cruel git :P

  • Pets are so much fun. I see they all have similar names, yet they look like members of the chicken Mafia =D

  • Hey :)

    Their names are all Norse.

Haha chicken Maffia is about right!

  • hey lilly, how are you? sweet, you have chickens!!!!! cool, i havn't had chicken's since my allotment in 2003. where are the names from lilly? very cool sounding whatever they mean. and christ, hasn't odin got big? he's like a short haired version of chester! oh, did you know that chester had babies lilly? she had 6!

hope all is good lilly, parker!

  • Hey Parker, its been forever!

The names are all Norse, Norse godesses, Sol, sun, Nott, night, Var, contracts, Ran, the droun (chickens cant swim hehe!)

You need to do a vid of chesters babies!!!

  • lovely video. I know you might not have played in awhile, but what do you think of the new WoW expansion?

  • Ive downloaded the patch but i havent played to see what its like yet :D

  • cool

  • Chickens are fun they allways remind me of one of my uncles though. We call him rooster because the cops found five pounds of pot in his chicken coup one time.

  • hehe baaak baaaak

  • Yay for chickens! Great stuff! Is the new pen going over grass as they will give you much nicer eggs? I wish you lived nearer I could give you a cockerel to go with them. They look like a nice bunch of hens though and I love their names.

Are you near a sandy beach at all? Especially shell sand as that will thicken the shells, they need grit. We are lucky as there are shell sand beaches near us and we just go for a walk once or twice a year and that does them.

    Great stuff Lilly. Enjoy!

  • Hey Dorrie!

The pen will be on grass and chippings, but we are going to grow pallets of turff & swap them biweekly.

I think the neighbours would complain if i got a cockrel though.

We arent by a beach but im putting a sand bath in for them, and they have oyster shell & grit mix.

Great to see you again x x x

  • You've certainly done your homework Lilly, I'm sure they will be very happy and you will have wonderful eggs. They are such funny creatures. Our last chick deserted it's Mum and went to the other Maran hen. It's Mum was funny and never talked to it (maybe the type of hen it is) and the other Maran just loved the chick when it arrived. The chick even started sleeping on the other hens back, it's very weird. I'm glad though because I don't think the first one was a good mum. :)

  • Nice project Report! Poor pecked Odin!

  • He was ok, just scared. I dont know what he will be like if he is here when they are loose!

  • Hahaha!
