  • @BBBLACKDOG do you get bass frequencies cut out on rhythm bass? i get this problem all the time :\

  • @LordxArn

    Hi

Sometimes, but not much to be honest, could be frequencies cancelling each other out, Have a fiddle with your intonation, might help.

Sometimes, especially when we've got both bass's and Vocals running through the same Amp we get a little dropping but better now (we use a bose L1 with 4 bass bins for P.A. and/or backline as required which seems to handle everything very well)

Thats more a problem of the Amp/speakers not being able to handle everything at once

    When does it happen?

  • @BBBLACKDOG Basically, in studio when I switch from clean bass to drive, it sounds as there is no bass at all - merges with the guitar too much. It'd be less problematic if I didn't use the clean sound I guess. We don't use P.A. for the instruments, just vocals.

So, you say you use Boss BD-2? Most of the pedals I tried lost bass frequencies, but will have to check this one out. Thanks for your answer.

  • Fuckin great sound, as always...

  • Fuckin magic!!

  • how often do you guys play live? do you ever tour around?

  • yeah
