a newb question : Is there still enough players in europe (to have a playable ping) to fill one or two servers the weekend ?

sadly I skipped ETQW (univ time), so I'm wondering if I still have a chance to enjoy ETQW with human players or if it's dead, what's your opinion ?

Hi,

There is around 15 pubs servers full every night  (the ranked one on base, 24 slots), so the game is definitively alive.

Sadly, we can't say the same about the propub, but the nirvana server is using a really good mix of pro&base.

I'm sure the purpouse was to get people playing custom maps and not to drive them away from it. Siwa wouldn't fit due to that.

LNA 1v1 was accepted by the community and was used in some competition cups.

Siwa however is a disgrace to all maps. It's almost like the Yet-Another-Goldrush in w:et, but worse. As it has just been copied and not really edited in any way.

ah ok, I was thinking for a sec you had played it, obviously not. the map is not copied, there is tons of new stuff including a slipgate and a whole 2nd level to it like slipgate, as well as many changes to the old town. next time try knowing the correct info before you bother to post. thnx

after slipgate comes something out of quake.

It is COPIED as there have been no modifications to the map to suit et:qw. All the buldings feel like doll houses and the map is badly unbalanced. Especially the last stage where you only lemming to obj with spawnshield and do obj.

i wouldn't call 1 minor change "tons of new stuff"

But really, look at how chris did radar and think before posting.
