The lions do have lots of room to roam. This enclosure area in Big Cat Falls is somewhat larger than the outside lion area of the old Carnivora House.

Unfortunately, I don't know the exact dimensions, but I will try to get them for you.

According to Zoo staff, the enclosure is 100 feet by 66 feet, not including holding areas, which are approximately 14 by 9 and 14 by 12 feet.

(I was actually proud of my estimating ability because I had estimated 100 feet by 55 feet! But I didn't want to say that because very often my estimations aren't that good.)

Yes, they are. Even though they are 18 years old, which is old for lions, they still move and pose like royalty.
