Also, due to not having much torque (or you could also call it leverage on the crankshaft), the car bogs down when fully loaded and/or going uphill. This puts TONS of strain on the little 4-Banger, and thus why major repairs are needed after some kid fucked it up. I also noticed that while driving a friend's Prelude, when the A/C is turned on, the car loses alot of power. I turned it on at a stop light and the RPMS dropped a good 300 and almost killed it.

Sure it has HP because of the short stroke, but it has no torque, which is vital for takeoffs, going uphill, or carrying extra weight (people, luggage, etc). If the max speed on that is, say, 130MPH with only the driver, no luggage etc, it would be probably 90-100 with a passenger or luggage. Get yourself a stroker kit and you'll be halfway to fast.

No torque usually means very short stroke, which means bigger bore, which means higher RPMs, which means more horsepower, but that horsepower is useless if you can't make it up a hill doing the same speed or while hauling another person or 3. A 3.8L V8 makes more power than a similarly built 3.8L I4 every time due to its design and more capacity for combustion, and therefore power generation.
