From the start of The Prisoner you are told who Number 1 is! The opening sequence goes...........McGoohan asks "Who Are You" reply "I Am The New Number 2" McGoohan "Who Is Number 1" reply "You Are,Number 6" I love this series. A great actor truly to be missed! Thanks for posting

I've been hearing about a movie for a long time now. I hope that something DOES come of it.
On the other hand, it would be difficult to top anything McGoohan could do, IMO.

Love this show, I have to wonder how many folk like this show and have not ever done acid? Because as a former acid head this show seems very much steeped in psychedelia

I own the series and watch it occasionally. Didn't realize that this is the 40th anniversary of this GREAT show!!

I liked the series' "visuals," but found it all too tedious to watch. "Open to interpretation" may be a result of not being very well developed.
I wish I liked it but, like "The Man from Uncle," I thought it just dragged on.
