@0Francine0 Your laptop won't get stolen if you never take your eyes off it. I use mine at school and it NEVER EVER leaves my sight. I have it in front of me or in a satchel on my side. If it is in my hands then people will have to take it from me if they're gonna get it, and since this is a nice part of town for college, that stuff doesn't happen so much around here.

He may have been caught two hours later, but the arrest was futile. He went out the front into a waiting get away car.

These guys are almost like stage magicians, the way they work. They take their time, they make sure their distractions are in place, and they wait for the right moment to strike.

Stores ought to have RFID tags somewhere inside their display models, so that if it ever strays more than a few inches from the display, the alarm goes off, and the clerk ought to be close enough to the door to lock it quickly in that case.
