  • i saw them yesterday (24-4-2011) at the "Pacrock" in belgium and they were very fantastic !

  • ive been seeing Imaad for a while, most underrated guy in the underground, keep it up Imaad

  • i saw him 2 months ago in germany, and there were only 15 people in the audience...... but in was still fucking amazing

  • cool :)

  • Now I wonder if Jimmy Page has heard of this guy. Imaad is definitely finishing what Mr Page has left off.

  • I hear Imaad is going to open some dates on the New Pornographers' upcoming tour. He will be in nearby Lawrence, Kansas, for a show coming up, so I'll get another chance to see him live pretty quick. Can't wait.......

  • I saw these guys last week they opening for Dead Meadow. Gotta say they rocked the joint, I actually thought they made the show that much better, much respect.

  • My band played with them on Apr. 18th. Best band I've ever seen. It was rock n roll at the finest its been in a long time.

  • im seeing this act tonite @ the basement-promo west in columbus, ohio and i will tell you all who it is, my friends' band is playing tonite opening for both Wasif & DM, "the Main Street Gospel' is their name, check them out! they just got onto TeePee records

  • hell yeah dude, i was at the detroit show last night too!!! they totally melted my face and set my soul on fire.

  • A bunch of my friends were at that show too. At the magic stick right?

  • just saw him open for dead meadow in detroit. dead meadow showed up late which allowed for a full imaad set. ..........sick

  • @weezer1357 i was there to they were better then dead meadow mthey were great

  • koenhead -I just saw the same lineup in Chicago on April 13.. and I cannot agree with you more. I never heard of Imaad before, and yes - I will also confirm, he did blow Dead Meadow away, not to say DM were bad, Imaad was just THAT awesome. I became an instant fan. I will absolutely see him everytime he comes through.

  • I saw Imaad Wasif last night in Kansas City (4/8/10) opening for Dead Meadow and all I can say is, Good Lord! I am a fan of Dead Meadow, but this guy blew them off the stage and everyone there would attest to that. This guy put on one of the best performances I've seen in many years and I have been going to Rock shows since '79. This guy is someone to watch and this is an awesome song. His drummer is pretty wicked, as well.

  • Wow, really? he BLEW THEM OFF THE STAGE? I'm attending that tour on Tues. in Chicago, & I didn't think it was possible to blow Dead Meadow off their own stage. but if you say so, guess I'll have to witness it for myself.

  • @ConiferTreez

Surprised me, too! First off, Dead Meadow apparently had an off night, because they were excellent when I saw them at the same venue here last September. But Jason Simon appeared grumpy and impatient the whole show, checking his watch after every song like he had a train to catch. But even if they had been at their best, Imaad played with a fire and passion that Dead Meadow just couldn't touch and I'm sure he will bring this all your way when he hits Chicago. Enjoy the show!

  • @KoenHead i just saw them in chicago, and they were both on fire. you probably just caught dm on an off night.
