Raymond knows a trick! Steal something then enter a different building other than the shop. Then leave the building and get killed by a monster (Still do not enter the shop) then save the game and either CONTINUE or QUIT (Do NOT select Continue without saving or it will fail) then enter the shop and get killed. repeat the process as in the last section in the previous sentence and TADA! you kept your object!

i figured out a better way to do this, coz if u do it this way u will be called THIEF by everyone for the rest of the game. also if u die even once u cannot get the good ending.

so anyway u pay for the item as usual but as soon as u get the chance while the money is counting down u SAVE AND QUIT. u will lose a lil cash, but u wont be killed by the shopkeeper, nobody will call u THIEF forever, and u will still save a lot of money if ur fast enough :D

It's much easier to do if you just stand between the items and the shopkeeper and make the shopkeeper have his back towards the door and then walk to the door. Basically what I meant to say was it's easier if you don't do the round trip around the back of the shopkeeper.

Nope. That's the Super Gameboy border. That's a cartridge adapter to play classic Gameboy games on the Super NES. Since the Gameboy screen was smaller than a TV, a special border was used on most of GB games at the time. It only allowed a certain palletes of colors though...
