  • ron paul is too smart for stupid americans

  • @FKAmericans Ron Paul doesn't stand a chance of getting elected, because he offers to many peaceful solutions to problems.

  • @jethrodassam thanks for proving my point skinny b ;)

too smart for retarded americunts ;)

  • @FKAmericans Hmmm... I walked right into that one :(

  • @jethrodassam get some weight then talk you sound like a poor dying old grandma

  • @FKAmericans You call me fat, and then say I need more weight?

  • They call Ron Paul a nut? He's not a warmonger, and Santorum is the worst of all!

  • He's right. And also remember that Pearl Harbor was a direct result of oil embargo in Japan. You gotta question the official story. Don't trust the government. They play on your feelings of patriotism to do terrible things to other nations.

  • so much common sense. is anyone in that audience listening?

  • Pay attention between 0:29 and 0:35 and once more between 0:53 and 0:57

He's saying that we're blockading Iran. We're not. China and any other sovereign nation is free to trade with Iran. Sanctions=/=blockades. There's no other word for this than "lie"

  • @migkillertwo

He did not lie, he simply misspoke... People familiar with Ron Paul know he meant to say sanction... Such as recent sanctions placed on the Central Bank of Iran and the Petro-Chem industries of Iran. Countries such as Russia, India, China, Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador and others have spoken against imposing sanctions on Iran and will continue to trade and do business with Iran as they see fit.

  • @RevolucionSonika

"People familiar with Ron Paul know he meant to say sanction"

He said it TWICE. He didn't mean to say "sanctions." Sanctions are just prohibiting your own citizens from trading with certain countries. Blockades are the use of force to prevent the target country from trading with anyone. Sanctions are simple regulations of commerce, blockades are acts of war.

Unless Ron Paul thinks that sanctions are acts of war (in which case, he's a retard), he didn't misspeak.

  • @migkillertwo

Your response indicates that You are not familiar with Ron Paul's viewpoints on certain topics. Ron Paul is not the most articulate speaker and often stumbles in his word usage... This is one of those moments. Most of the time he will notice his gaffes and correct himself. Regarding the semantics of what is and what is not an act of war.. If the Iranians see the sanctions as an ATTACK against its sovereignty, its businesses or institutions.. Then that is what it is.

  • The US or EU telling its own citizens not to do business with Iranians is NOT AN ATTACK on Iran's sovereignty. Iran can say that the USS Nimitz patrolling the North Atlantic is a violation of its sovereignty, but obviously just because they say so doesn't make it so.

This is not the first time he has compared the sanctions to a russian blockade on the gulf of mexico, he has done it elsewhere as well. It's not a "gaffe", it's a LIE.

  • @migkillertwo

Again... This is all about semantics and perceptions... If a rock hits you in the back of the head, and when you turn around you see only me and no one else... From your viewpoint... Was it I that threw that rock at you or someone else? I can say over and over that I did not throw that rock at you... However, if you believe I did, then that is what YOU will believe. What I believe or say will not matter to YOU.

  • "This is all about semantics and perceptions"

No, it's not. there's a big, fat line between "blockade" and "sanction." He's not confusing the two, he said that we are blockading iran and wants you to believe it.

  • @migkillertwo

Once again... What YOU believe and what the IRANIANS believe are obviously going to be completely different. Ron Paul has read various books written by former CIA agents and former Military Officers, and understands the meaning of blowback. That is what Ron Paul is trying to educate the public on... It does not matter what we do to a foreign country... What matters is how that foreign country may interpret and react to what we do.

  • @migkillertwo I agree totally with @RevolucionSonika . I'm from India and recently India made a deal with Iran on oil based export which had been delayed a little because of the pressure put on India to not make the deal with Iran by the US.

So there is no blockade but the US sure is trying to flex it political muscles.

  • @NitWomba It's not supported by the American public

  • @NowWhatRTheyUp2 Oh I'm not saying anything against the American people, I like them infact. I'll like them a lot more if they voted for Dr. Paul :)

  • @NowWhatRTheyUp2

Sanctions are not supported by the American people? According to what poll?

  • NBC, abc, CBS, CNN, even the BBC acts like Ron Paul doesn't exist. They refuse to even mention his name and play to the lowest common denominator. He got a total of 6 minutes during the debate. I'm disgusted!

  • If Romney wants war, let him send his 5 billionaire sons first....then I'll go on his command.

  • @vinnys025 Word up Vinny!
