Dawson and Joey fucking suck, I swear!! They are passionless and bland! I'm so sick of them being like this in every season finale! UGH! And their kisses..ughhhhhhhhh. Pacey & Audrey are just gross together. PJ was the best couple ever on this show...the only couple I loved. And Jack and Jen were my 2nd favorite "couple" but the rest were just UGH!

It doesn't track. Apart from the fact that I never really found Audrey fit the series and the characteristics of DC, Pacey can't count her as a 'great love'. They had no serious relation, he had a bunch of random women while knowing her, not really seeing her in a different light and she kissed her ex-beau. Even his attraction to Alex should have made him realise he's not invested in Audrey at all. Probably the only way the writers could defend him being on the show without being in college.
I think that Pacey does not really love her,maybe he did not want to be alone. His true love is Joey. It does not matter how many times Dawson tries to get Joey Back. She will always return to Pacey
@nayarp1 WRONG, joey always ran back to Dawson and didn't get back with pacey till the finale and why did they end it like that? cuz dawson would've been the obvious choice cuz that's what she always did, RUN BACK TO DAWSON. choosing pacey created more buzz and a different spin, that's all.
@ljcollins78 I look at it differently.It seemed as if from season 2 finale on,they were building up to D&J ending up together.The way P&Js relationship fizzled out,i mean Dawson wud never get away with dating Joeys roomate,Joey told Pace straight up that it wasnt there for her anymore. With like 3 shows to go. Dawson fans weather so many painful storms, watched joey run off with his bf. Watched them date for a year. Dumb,makes no sense, no fair.. i mean D&J r the poster couple of the damn show.
i love this season finale !!! everyone made plans thinking that what they but change their mind at the last minute except dawson coz joey screwed up his mind againnnn!! he even said it, dammit you have this annoying habit of making me not wanna go.....

I don't see how that relates to this scene ..... Dawson was going out to accomplish his dream, and Joey knew that for a fact. So she didn't go with him because she knew it was what HE WANTED and that he needed to do it alone. That's why she said no and that she couldn't go with him.
@claireice joey would've ran away anywhere with dawson when the time was right just like she tried to give him her virginity WAY before pacey, but dawson turned her down DJ is the heart of the show and always will be pacey/andie would've been second if the writers knew what they were doing
