  • Anyone know where I can get this board, size 156?

  • can u please give me a link for one of these boards that is not out of stock

  • what burton board do you recommend that is a good all around board for a 5'7 106 pound guy? I like to ride park a lot and ride in the woods and moguls and powder

  • @IMseanIsnowboard - I would check out a Custom Flying VRocker. A board around the 145cm length is ideal.

  • @IMseanIsnowboard sierrasnowboard is as wrong as hitler

you need at least a 155

  • @Haloreach96 - The design changes a bit each year, but the Custom has been made for the past 15 plus years.

  • WOW! This snowboard has lightning bolts! Isn't that a bit dangerous though?

  • @MrPocketWatch1 - It is a bit...

  • i have his board.... the top sheet is starting to crack alot, so im sending it back to burton and they will cover the dammage and give me a new board

  • Hey so with the many different stance possibilities with the channel, although this board is directional shaped could I just adjust my stance and use this board as a twin? Since it's a twin flexed directional board. In circumstances where a directional board wouldnt be required of course, not 24/7.

  • @MrSnowBreezy - To get it to perform like a twin use the reference, set back stance. What makes this board directional is the nose has a bigger spoon. When you center to reference the stance will be centered to your side cut.

  • i hated mine

  • @Sk8erGuy27 why bro ! :o

  • which one is better : Burton Custom 2010 or Custom X 2010??

    Please answer

  • @VivalaErzi - Depends what you want in a ride. The Custom X is much stiffer and better for high speed freeriding, but too stiff for jibbing.

  • @sierrasnowboard Thanks for the help. You should do a review about Ride Kink 2010/2011 :P

  • @VivalaErzi - Depends what type of rider you are. If you are an advanced rider that loves to carve and ride fast the Custom X is a great board. If you are an all mountain rider that wants a board that can do it all the Custom might be a better choice. Both are Cambered Boards.

  • do you have to have special bindings for the new setup?

  • @KLyle18 - Check out the Burton EST CO2 or Burton EST Malavita

  • I'm just wondering what the benefits of having a directional-shaped board are as opposed to a twin-shaped?

    hopefully you can help, thanks.

  • @MrSnowBreezy - A direction shape board is designed to travel primarily one direction. If you do not ride switch you should go with a directional board.

  • @sierrasnowboard - Yea but is there a benefit of having a longer nose than your tail when riding? and is this board not ideal for 180s/540s? like is it noticeably awkward when landing and riding off switch after a jump/jib?

  • @MrSnowBreezy - Just in powder you get the benefit. It is not awkward at all.

  • Has anyone ever heard of the Burton raven? And know what it is good for?

  • hey i have seen some customs that have ics on the name what is this ? does it make a difference

  • @charlieclubers - ICS (Infinite Channel System) is what is now known as "The Channel." The first few years the Custom was offered with The Channel and the Three-Hole Inserts. Now the adult sizes just come with The Channel.

Hope that clears it up for you.

  • wuts the flex for 2009 version?

  • @Guitar0wner - Pretty much the same as the 2010

  • im planning to get the same board for christmas and with the white burton custom bindings.

  • I saw that the boards for 2011 are up on burton's site, hope to see some reviews on them soon! :P

  • @Angelow07 Sierrasnowboard is not selling Burton gear this year. SierraSnowboard is selling Burton snowboard at 50% to 70% discount, but Burton doesn't want that because it impacts sales on their own website.

  • I'm a beginner, would this be a good board to start out on without having to upgrade?

  • @Zigz94 - I would recommend you go with the V-Rocker Custom if you are just starting out. Also check out the Sierra Reverse Crew and Sierra Stunt.

  • @sierrasnowboard how come when i click the link it says they dont carry it any more?????

  • @DragonForcer01 - Because we don't, sorry.

  • @sierrasnowboard haha but in your video it says its your most popular board. Ok? haha thats weird.

  • @DragonForcer01 - It was but Burton and Sierra have parted ways in recent months. We carry the Sierra Crew and Rome Agent which are in the same realm as the Burton Custom.

  • @Zigz94 yea go with the v rocker custom. i was a beginner and i got that board and absolutly loved it its a great way to get a feel for snowboarding!!

  • im 5.11 and weigh around 187 pounds what size should i go for?

also would i need the wide version if i have size 10 feet in large bindings? thanks

  • @boultonio2k4 - You could get either the 158 or 157 wide. With size ten boots you don't have to get a wide board. The standard custom is a bit narrow so if you are more off a freestyle rider I would recommend the wide.

If you are using Burton Bindings I would recommend using a medium for most size 10 boots.

Also check out the Sierra Crew in the 158 and 157 wide.

  • im 5.11 and weigh around 187 pounds what size should i go for?

also would i need the wide version if i have size 10 feet in large bindings? thanks

  • im 5.3 and 95 pounds what size board should i ride thanks

  • @roflstomped101 - A board around 140-144

  • what would you suggest for learning switch riding and learning to spin, the burton deuce, the sierra crew, or the ride crush

  • @MrZoomzs - The Sierra Reverse Crew would be a bit better for progressing your freestyle riding.

  • im tinking about getting a custom but im not sure what size i need

im 5'8 150pounds and i love freestyle and rails i have a 11.5-12 boot and hate toe drag so should i get wide. im confused help me out

  • Go to burton website and select mens->boards->anyboard then under the add to cart button you will see "board finder" select that enter your info it will tell you if you need wide or not.

  • @tankmanful - I would go with Custom V-Rocker in the 154 or the Sierra Reverse Crew in the 155

  • hey im 5'8: tall about 115 pounds what board and what size do you recommend? i wanna use the board for just about everything?

  • 151, consider the v-rocker version too
