Guitar wise the whole Underclass album is a bunch of power/open/bar chords with some string skipping lead, deryck always tried to take credit but anyone who can compare their old albums to underclass hero can see a massive element of guitar missing (dave) which just leaves deryck and his whiney voice for 50mins of trash.

This band is actually pretty good so fair play to him for actually playing to his potential. As for the maiden comments... you did actually listen to both bands right??? I mean I'm not a maiden fan but the guys were amazing musicians and last time I check Blink 182 couldnt string a sentence together let alone a riff. Typical jealous kid. Firstly Deryck is a terrible guitarist end of... Dave can sing in tune, with amazing passion and much more harmony then deryck while playing lead guitar to an amazing level... When they raided the pizza place dave with in the band for a start and they were about 19 when they did that, sum 41 hasnt grown up but dave has and its about time sum 41 did seeming they are 26/27 not 19.

This band is actually pretty good so fair play to him for actually playing to his potential. As for the maiden comments... you did actually listen to both bands right??? I mean I'm not a maiden fan but the guys were amazing musicians and last time I check Blink 182 couldnt string a sentence together let alone a riff. Also as for 'crying to get sum41 to take him back' errm... no. He's actually a dam good musician whereas sum41 are mediocre musicians (good but no way near as good as they could be)

There music sounds like blink 182, only with cheezy 'metal' lyrics. Typical jealous kid. Firstly Deryck is a terrible guitarist end of... Dave can sing in tune, with amazing passion and much more harmony then deryck while playing lead guitar to an amazing level... When they raided the pizza place dave with in the band for a start and they were about 19 when they did that, sum 41 hasnt grown up but dave has and its about time sum 41 did seeming they are 26/27 not 19.

This is why when I was talking to Dave and he told me that Muchmusic told him to say that he practises "guitar" 8 hours a day when really Dave said before they made him change it that he practises music 8 hours a day. They made him lie. Anything to make the station sell right? Most of the time, the questions that the audience ask are not even the ones that they originally want to ask either.
