@PonyTails55 So glad you like it,Linda, now you know what i look like properly and you are still interested?,lol!,i can't wait to get a proper look at you,i know what you mean,Wink!,thanks for this great comment,my dearest friend!
The one great thing I have to thank my father for is taking me to steam engine rallies in the 60s and early 70s and exposing me to these wonderful machines. I can remember carrying an LP home in 1968 from the Wilsic Hall Rally of the ex "whites" Gavioli and I still have it. They can change your mood in an instance, from sad or reflective to happy. Some of those deep bass notes really hit the soul of man thanks Peter for these : )
@wurlitzer165 Yes,it is coated with shellac to strengthen the card, this is standard practice on music books especially where there are a lot of long notes.
@petermackett37 The thursford wellershaus struggles somewhat on long chords, the bellows need reworking, and maybe as well the card of the books is weakening? It was built in the mid 20's so maybe some of its books are 80 or so years old. I am not of course aware if any of the books it has today were played in its working life on the fairgrounds of Germany.

You know when you give those cheeky little smiles at the camera before closing the keyframe you are just like Oliver Hardy out of Laurel And Hardy. Its just that cheeky little smile that reminds me of him. These keyframe videos are excellent Peter keep up the great work!!!;)
@118Verbeek Thanks,David,i had no idea i looked like Oliver Hardy, lol! Glad you liked them,i try to show something different,i must thank Brian again for letting me do this!
@petermackett37 Yes i didnt just like them i loved them! Usually people only see the front and thats only a small thing to show. Im really loving them and im glad you have the idea of showing it from a different perspective it makes a nice change.;)
@118Verbeek So glad you appreciated them,David,i will do more soon,i try to educate the general public into the workings of the mechanical organ,it's easier to show it than try to explain it!
@petermackett37 Oh i know what your saying there are times when i listen to my MP3 player in school and people ask what im listening to and i try to explain but they dont understand at all. A teacher asked once and i let him listened to a few seconds of it and he liked it. But one thing that bothers me is when he called it a steam organ! LOL. It drives me mad!
Is Louis Blache's name on the book label as well as Andrew Whitehead's?
