My batch is just as runny as honey and it is the same colour as yours, but when i tried doing the roll up it did not form into a clump of a ball. What is wrong with my batch?
@PrincessValeria95 yes eventually it will effect the hair follicle and discontinue growing hair but it can take years for some people whilst others can see a reduction in 6 months
when you made the wax does it stick with the pot? Is washing the pot gonna be a problem? and what did you use to remove the hair, a fabric or something?
@kickmyask82 no it only looks thicker because it only stubble but that's only when u shave, wen you wax the hair gets removed from the root, and takes like six weeks to grow back ;))
I did try this and it worked really well! But how can I make sure it doesn't burn my fingers and the wax doesn't get so hard because that stuff is HOT!
I don't know if you ever tried this, but back home we let it get a bit darker than what you have, let it be more solid, grab a handful , apply it along hair growth and pull back like u do, but you can reuse that one piece for your entire body if you dont have too much hair, it's much faster and doesn't require waiting in between - there are some youtube videos but none look like they really mastered the technique - this is the original sugaring way by the ancients
fuckin awesome!!..i tried sugaring at home & it made wonders. guys out there who r scared f waxing or have no budget try sugaring its worth it. it duz not pain :D
@MsJingleMingle yes it will (and don't be embarrassed - heaps of girls have hair on their bellies up to their belly button) Apparently it's so normal is brazil that it's just part of a bikini line or brazilian treatment : )
I just did a test on my arm and sugar waxed a small section. It didn't hurt but it's gone very very red. 5 hours later and it's back to normal apart from little red marks on it... Is this normal? It's my first time ever waxing. Does anyone else get this?
@R0SIEmb yip that is normal - the little red dots are your body's histamine reaction to the pain of the hair being removed from the root, most ppl have this and it goes in a couple of hours or overnight, some ppl have strong reactions and come up in hives
soo i did my wax n it came out goo butttttttt when i tryied to reheat it in the microwave (thiz was a week from when i did it)it woulnt stick to my skin even if i cleaned my skin ... how do i have to reheat my wax
@diaXdiastole yeah waxing hurts but sugaring is gentler on your skin, make sure you have either aloe vera gel or tea tree lotion to put on after to sooth the skin : )
liiiiisten NEEED HELP i cant reli try this until i know if this question is answered soooo plz nd i need it quick cuz my legs are hairyier than a monkey! literly lol the roll up method ... is it worse than the strips?
i dont like the look of the pain and ive never tried so it would be help ful ! ohh and at what age would u recommend this waxing 2 ?
@4lyfShivi hey there. 1. the roll up method was ok but I recommend the strip method - just cut up some old pillow cases or sheets or old jeans to use as strips. 2. if you have not waxed before, make this but try little patches first & if you can get someone else to help you. 3. DON'T put it on HOT, let it completely cool - if it goes hard put a couple of tblsp of water into the mix then heat gradually to a gel consistency in the microwave. 4. After - put teatree or aloe vera on
Thank you so much. It works really well especially on legs but I've been having some problems waxing eyebrows and upper lip. It doesn't pull the hair at all, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions? Thanks. :)
so I tried your wax thing but it's not working :( it seems to have a good consistency but when I try to use it it pulls up little to no hairs. any idea what I'm doing wrong?
@theycallmejade14 yes, but be careful to hold the skin tight and stretched to avoid brusiing, and do small patches AND IF it hurts too much wash it off with warm water
@theycallmejade14 I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself on such a sensitive area unless you can take a lot of pain and not hold back. Even a lot of professionals I know won't do it on themselves completely, only the bikini line... if they want a Brazilian they go to another professional.
Could you please tell me if the smudging and rolling up technique works better or the strips, the rolling up seems less painful. but i want to know if it's effective?!
I am wondering, how hot/warm the wax is suppose to be , to use it on my skin ?
and for sensitive skin, do I have to put baby powder before waxing ?
also can I use this wax for every single part of my body ? I am kinda scared because the last time I waxed, red spots appeared on my arms, and it was a bit painful :/
@GreatxAshley You don't want the sugar too hot, if it's too hot, let it cool completely then slowly reheat back up in the microwave, you can use sugar on every area of the body. The red spots you got are very very normal, this is the body's histamine reaction to the pain of the hair being pulled out of the follicle, this normally subsides within 2 - 24 hours but aloe vera and tea tree help to calm the skin
@galaxydreaming Thank you VERY MUCH! you won't belive this, but yesterday I was making my hair wax, and it worked for the very first time ! I use to always burn it or make it too watery etc, but really, your video and your advice, helped a lot ! Thank you ! XOXO
@galaxydreaming I've always had a problem. When I'd shave I get bumps. I would get a skin rash from the razor and I was very self-conscious about it. I didn't wear tank tops, always had long sleeve shirts on, and it just made me very uncomfortable. thats why I am using this cute device from now on
Hi there! I´ve wanting to try this one, and the sugar was easy to make, but at the time to apply it, it was really hot; I waited and then it got just like a caramel; does it needs to be really hot to use it?
@Adritakaxo yeah you can't apply it too hot and if you cool it too much it becomes like hard candy. I let it cool completely then reheat it in the microwave slowly to the right temperature and then use it.
For sugar waxing, do you have to use wax strips or is it optional? I've seen people rub the wax on with their fingers and then pull it off, so I'm not sure.
I just made this and it was overcooked so i did the whole water and microwave thing and it helped, and I did my arms and it looked like it was all good and there was no hair left and I treated it and stuff and then when it was all dry later there's still so much hair left :/ It got lots but still. I still dont think the consistency was 100% correct though, didn't have enough lemons to start a new batch lol, it's so messy!!!!
@beautywithin910 It hurts but sugaring generally is less painful than strip or hot waxing. Some people take panadol or some sort of painkillers 1 hour before waxing, also pressing the area straight away after removal helps alot with the pain
ive been reading the comments n some questions are repetitive...
Guys, for wax strips you can use an old t-shirt, something you wont miss! You can even use paper (like from printers), but if u use paper, make sure to use a thin layer of wax!
@XXXpoisonXXX11 Yes people do ask the same questions but I like to reply if I can so that my viewers know they are individuals to me not just another number or subber ya know?
@Christina1Pham No it grows back within 4-6 weeks and over time with waxing/sugaring the hair follicle becomes weaker as the blood supply at the root is distrubed and the hair actually grows back thiner and less, hope that helps ya.
@NyaahMixie It does harden as it cools - some people (when they reheat) put 1 or 2 teaspoons-tablespoons of water in it and mix it well so that it forms more of a gel
@NyaahMixie I find mine hardens when it cools but you need to heat it back up (in the microwave) slowly with a couple of teaspoons to tablespoons of water and it heats up more to a gel
