I just put cat-back duals on my 06 last week. I am thinking about either a S&B or Volant cai. Did you notice any increase in power or MPG after you installed your S&B? Was it easy to install? Any problems?

The S&B was an easy install...didn't see any MPG differences with either the CAI or the Roush kit. I'm running a Troyer Performance tune that gives it a bit more power.

Because its illegal in most states, you need a muffler.

But i'm from Canada. It does sound like we just have aftermarket exhaust on it. We left the Catelitic Converters on and just took of the exhaust, sounds pretty sweet.

You would think that but on these trucks you'd be surprised, In my opinion and muffler for these trucks is a waste of money if you want a good sound, at least with the 2004's. 2005+ has 2 less cats so it could be a tad louder

Off road and legal is only the difference in decibals. Check out my '05 with the off road kit if your interested. I believe the off road is still 50 state legal, just Roush claims it will exceed the 83 decibal limit. I think it's 83... Take me advice. You'll like the off road version. I actually wish mine was a little louder, mainly at idle. It's different than all the Flowmaster F150's:) That's why I got mine.

I had the Roush exhaust on my F-150 Nascar Edition. Changed it out for a Flowmaster. The sound was almost 100% identical. The Flowmasters are a 1/3 of the cost.
