dude, i got the same problem, do what Lois708, said and on mine its 'Windows Media player Network service' and its eating up my Physical memory, till it gets to 4 GB(my Max) and it freezes my computer, i find if u just do to processes and click on it and "end Process" it stops it from freezing, but it starts up again after a while. i donno what turns it on and how to impermanently turn it off but if u figure out please tell me. cause i just spend 2000$ on this new computer
I don't know if this is your problem, but in the windows task manager click in the button "Show processes from all users" and maybe you can see if the leak is there.
if u don;t turn off windows defender it will swallow all processor space

I had Problems with Explorer.exe in Windows 7 it always showed about 67 or 89MB that's was weird
