u could use some compression, deEsser, reverb, autotune, cut out the breathing, a pop filter, and some back ground vocals but overall i liked it

@djcondra NO NO NO all of the things i said dont "kill the soul" they just up the quality: compression so she wont peak and distort; DeEsser to remove the ESSS's; cutting out the breathing or reducing it for quality and the same for the rest....unless she wants to stay at amateur, low production status all these things i said and more go into making quality music.... im not looking at this as a listener, im listening as a producer and engineer!

What is your laptop's sound card? Are you used only g-track sound card?

Try mixing your vocals more into the mix, in this case reducing the volume by maybe 20-30% of your voice (I know this sounds awkward, but believe me, you'll have a much better result). Also, some bit of delay or and some reverb (95% of singers do this, including Mandy Moore, gives it a more warm and surrounding tone)

You have to select the mic in the current channel to record with it, I use FL too but not for recording. I suggest you get protools, audition or something else with a better engine for recording ur music :) audacity also works wich is free. If you can't figure it out send me a message and ill try to help you, buying a samson c01u next mont :D
