Most "conventional" churches don't say you will burn in hell for having premarital sex. The emphasis on sex within marriage is a practical concern(it's a most efficient societal behavior) expressed as a religious law. Masturbation is a tangent, and again the effect of religious laws against masturbation are not to eliminate it but rather emphasize sex within marriage leading to the pair bonded raising of children. In short, while you're jacking off a muslim is gaining market share.

I know quite well about their hate filled bigoted views. By the way I have also read the Bible and it actually does not clearly state that sex outside marriage is wrong. The Bible is open to interpretation but most churches interpret it as being anti-sex. That is one of the reasons I am considering leaving christianity.

I think the Children of God as simply a reaction to most mainstream churches which teach that all sex outside marriage is evil, dirty and sinful. So the real people to blame are the mainstream christian leaders who keep insisting that sex is evil and something strictly forbiddon outside marriage even for consenting adults. People need to speak out against the sexual repression taught by the mainstream church.

God is all for sex, read the bible, it jus has to be done the right way within marriage, one woman and one man, which is how God intended it to be. The Bible is only inaccurate if you believe you have to take every word literally. If you took every word I, or anyone else, has said literally then you might have a very inaccurate understanding of what we mean. There are Bible scholars that help us in this area. Try Catholicism, it's pretty good in the area of understanding God's Word.
