  • @jabgdn haha good idea :D

  • Does it have two IR LEDs?

  • @SlimeAmTheBest it uses 4

  • can you please make a video about the Mylar balloons in the stores? its something we don't have here.

  • I'm still laughing at this!

  • Lol :D this is fun :D I have been thinking to do the same thing in our Apple store (macforum), because the computers have a remote I can controll all computers at the same time :D

  • @randomforum Cool :D

  • Nice job. That's so great. The best part of this video would be the reaction of the employees (if there's any staffed there anymore). You should bring a friend with another camera.

  • I knew you'd have good fun with the TV-B-Gone Daniel! I love mucking around with mine in chain stores.

  • @TheKrankieV Yeah Thanks for telling me about it!....you got a new channel?

  • 3 people who watched this video are TV crackheads...

  • i always find tv's of today have a shittier framerate

  • @JaemzStar

It may as well be that the physical framerate is higher actually (100 Hz for example) and that may make motions on 50 / 60 Hz signal framerate (wich is interlaced in the case of analog signals so it's actually 50 / 60 -half- frames per second) look not as smooth as on old CRT TV sets. It may be just an optical delusion.

  • How does that thing work!?

  • @CassetteMaster it has a chip with a big database of all the different infrared codes and when you start it it cycles through all the codes and the TVs go off as it puts out the right code for that particular TV. it takes about a minute and a half to go through them all and then it shuts off.

  • @coolbluelights Neat! That's funny!

  • nice!

  • We're can one buy a nice, greazy tv begone.. Hehehe my precious......

  • federal law says that any electronic device must be able to operate while being subject to interference. *en.wikipedia*org/wiki/Title_47_CFR_Part_15*

  • I knew a guy that often turned the TV on and off at school years ago.

  • HAHAHAHAHA

  • HAHAHA!!!! THAT'S HILLARIOUS! Now you need to build an EMP gun and you'll be in business! Imagine using THAT in the electronics section LOL

  • @wilkes85 lol I would love to use that to kill people's cell phones!

  • Nice, That'll teach 'Em

  • Lol thats pretty funny.

  • Nice! Have you disrupted any more things there? I'd also would like to do that. P.S digital TV sucks!

  • @manyvideoinerests I agree! analog TV was so much better now you get scrambled signals and drop outs. this device just has a huge database of remote codes and it goes down the list till it gets to the one the TV operates on and it shuts it off

  • @manyvideoinerests it doesn't disrupt anything. It's just like pressing the off button on the remote control.

  • Epic

  • Where can u buy that thing to turn them off ?

  • @motorbikesrule125 adafruit industries website, just google tv be gone

  • I know that you are a big hit at walmart. lol

  • LOL! that's awesome :D

  • oh that would be hilarious to do

  • That is hysterical Dan !!! LOVE IT! I gotta do that at work - must get one of the kits!

  • @tubeie07 yeah get the one from adafruit, the ones that look like keychain fobs aren't as good. mine has 4 infrared LEDs :D

  • @oldtime40s it just turns them off by cycling through all the popular infrared codes. I wish it broke them, I would break every flatscreen I see! but i'd probably get in big trouble if I got caught lol

  • I am pretty sure you just made me want to buy this awesome product I knew nothing about only a minute ago.
