  • Just give here more a attention an get her out more even just a lead out to graze she need someone to bond with <3

  • be nice to her dont kick sand at her its not going to help it will make her more mad and scard

  • cont'd from last.

    @2596rosey

You're embarrassing Australia with your show of illiteracy, all the while calling others "stupidd".

You're adding support to the view overseas which sees Australia as "backward" and "stepping back in time". Those are the words of the ex-CEO of Telstra, an American who ended up going back after a disappointing innings with uncooperative colleagues. And he's not "stupidd" by any means, having gotten a business degree with many real world successes before Telstra.

  • I would have lunged her until she was tired, then groom her then let her out in a pasture. The girls doing nothing wrong, the horse dosent care that shes yelling stop. Sometimes a deep firm voice helps them smarten up. Everyone complaining shes being to rough really needs to relaxxxxx...

  • If I was a horse and some skinny little clueless girl was brushing my body and tail that vigorously I'd socked her one right in the face.

  • cont'd; either way when they need a day to be a horse, either run them in the round pen so they get their head around something, so they have to concentrate on what you want rather than their fear OR simply let them in the paddock and give them some space to run about and settle themselves. I have an OTTB and he has his days, like yesterdays attempted murder, and then most of the time he's a complete doll. But the two days he's been bad I let him have his horse day, and then he's fine after.

  • Horses have bad days, they're wild animals at heart, unlike dogs or cats. IT's good to let them have a 'horse-day' simply to be a horse sometimes. My horse was basically a psychopathic murderous freak yesterday (to everything that wasn't a human; the dogs, another boarders horse (who I TOLD not to come near me with their horse, because mine was being nutters and was bad with new horses he didn't know)) Either way ... (will continue)

  • katieluvstoto actually if your horse is trained with voice comands it does help and if the horse is in season and there is a stallion nearby there is not much you can do but those girls in the vieo did the right thing by crostieing the mare

  • i'm sursprised she practically made no sound when 'freaking'. i would expect her to whinny loudly, especially when she was in heat

  • That horse has a nice shot in your face with its hoof by standing that far away from its ASS. Dumb girls.

  • This video makes me sick.. You guys dont know anything about horses.

  • Those Crossties are way to high above her head.

  • I have seen worse cases...

  • & btw when you brush a horses tail your not supossed to be standing far away or behind. You are safer when we are close with your shoulder pressed againt the side of the leg so she knows your there

  • I think she'd be safer in the stall & not yelled at. All you have to do is talk to her because she seems very nervous.

  • she isnt a spaz...

  • If she was in heat like you said in the description, you should let her out in to an empty pasture, She is pawing her nearfore because she feels very confined.

  • Jeez, weren't you right there?

  • Like omg @dumpycow chill out

  • sorry, had to do it.

  • I agree with A168HJ it is Separation Anxiety and what He or her said but ask a Vet how to stop the Anxiety.

  • I logged on just to tell you that I fear for your horse. Hopefully you'll learn that being preppy and ditsy around an animal that large is probably why that poor thing has so many issues... maybe you'll learn it before he dies in your incapable care, and you can "Like, omg!" at its dead body all you want. On the other hand, neat background. I would love to go riding there.

  • She really is a gorgeous horse... my horse does this too.. we have a really close bond... he doesnt do it as severly as she does though

  • I have three mares and none of them do anything like this to me even when separated. They know that if they act up they get to work long and hard. If your mare EVER ever puts anyone in danger you make her work. You either get on her or get a lunge line. She needs to know that this is not appropriate in any shape or form.

  • It helps a horse to calm down if they can lower their head - try taking her off cross-ties, and encourage her to put her head down (hay on the floor, carrot stretches, TTouch, whatever).

  • Maybe you should get a clue. Yelling stop while kicking dirt at the horse - WOW!?! How many times did you yell stop and she stopped??? Maybe try spending a little time next to the horse petting her and talking to her. Or here is a better solution. If you don't know what your doing don't act like you do. Such a beautiful horse too.

  • ooooh my horse did this today, she flipped herself over when i turned around to grab a brush...crazy mares. :(

  • Two of my favorite parts, the girl yelling at the horse as soon as she stopped and then bringing a horse over and then taking the other horse away. Hire somebody. A professional has a chance at fixing this plus her trailering issues.

  • Horses dont understand STOP..try quit..

  • She is such a pretty horse! And honestly people your not helping anybody by calling the girl that was telling the horse to stop bad words sooooo just keep it to yourself nobody cares

  • my mare does this, not as bad, but only when i walk away from her, even if there are other horses around she will paw at the ground until i return to her

  • she is fine when u r close to her. x

  • When I first show this video I was pissed because you don't need to scream at her. Sec if u r the scared of the horse maybe you should sell her. Third she is in heat just like us humans when we have periods we get bitchy and it sounds like u r on urs.

  • and shes kind of praising the behavior with grooming, it might help calm it down but to somehorses its a reward if they get groomed but it depends on the horse too

  • she needs to stop yelling at the horse becuese its not the horses fault, its nature and the horse can be worked on through domination, teritorial and anxiety problems as well

  • either Cocoa has anxiety problems, or she just wants that girl to shut up. that stupid bitch should try calming her down nicely instead of just screaming at her.

  • Great video, glad you posted it! You can either pay someone or address the issue yourself. Either way you are about to learn much about the physiological/psychological aspects of equine anxiety. There are several issues here. If you educate yourself thoroughly from a variety of sources you will be better equiped to address your horses needs. You may surprised that diet may play a small part in the horses behavior.

  • Thats a beautiful horse.

  • also tell ur friend not to let the lead rope touch the ground...the whole time i was like "ahhh the horse is gonna step on it" lol

  • i agree its separation anxiety. the fact she was in heat made her more alert and thus more spooky (because she was somewhat scared) so horses find safety in numbers. when you left she felt venerable and was moving around to get a better view of what was around her (aka if there was any predators) and pawing is a sign of anxiety. many ppl say pawing is a sign of anticipation well that is a form of anxiety so it falls under that. the horse was anxious for you to get back so she'd feel safe.

  • i agree, but sadly for the horse it is not as if yelling made her feel any safer when she was around than leaving her.

  • the cross ties are a little high.

I hate buddy sour horses. They are annoying. Good start on breaking this bad habit.

  • Shouting STOP! STOP! over and over isn't going to help.

  • telling my friend to stop shouting stop stop isnt gonna help either

    shut up

  • @kendolly33 You stay classy. Idiot, shouting at a spooky horse.

  • @kendolly33 shes a really tall mare. how many hands?

  • @kendolly33

You are a dummy. I wouldn't put a pet rock in your care.

  • @kendolly33 Why not? Can´t you be open for a little critique? We all make mistakes.

  • just wondered if this was ur new horse ??

  • no no no

haha this is my friend kenzie's new horse

we were just riding her while kenz was not well

  • my horse, allor, is so attached to her friend luna in the field especially in heat in the summer she's like WTH MAN

    cute mare!

  • yea, i definitely agree that it's separation anxiety, we had an appendix (ironic) that got SUPER attached this little arab, but he was a lesson horse, and so every time the arab was in a lesson, the other horse would just totally flip out and scream and scream.

  • oh man my horse is nuts :P i love her anyways!!! yes they did ride her and did amazingly well! i can not ride because i had surgery and can not ride so my besties are being life savers!

    I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D <3

  • Ahh dontcha just love mares? xD she's pretty what breed is she?

  • shes an appendix. (TBxQH)

  • she freaks the most at about 4 and a half mins into it

  • did u manage to ride her? xxx
