This is the way I plan to die when death comes. Free of modern medicine. Who wants to die in a sterile hospital room drugged so heavily you won't know up from down? I've had brushes with death and they were all pleasant aside from the experience of being cooped up in a hospital on drugs. When you're in great pain the body will produce's it's own medicine in the right amount that's needed so why interfere? Generally speaking, the body doesn't need our help. How could it be otherwise?

I watch my thoughts come and go like I watch the storm clouds pass. Watching the watcher. Consistent awareness of thoughts and focus on breath are two of the most important aspects of meditation, consciousness and life in general.
It may be possible that these techniques have not worked for you because you have not truly or fully tried them or possibly just have not tried them for long enough periods of time to witness the results. But these things have worked VERY WELL for myself and many people whom I know personally including members of my own family. I attribute much of my success and my amazing life greatly to these two things and to the teachings of J. Krishnamurti.

To answer your question based on what I have observed..I have no original thoughts or emotions...everything has been taught to me by others. My thoughts are not mine but belong to the rest of society.

This is dogma and a fallacy. Who is to say what a "true guru" is? Abstract thought is the only thing that separates humans from the other animals. There is nothing wrong with thought. "Mindlessness" or "Enlightenment" is not necessarily void of all thought and purpose. It is a knowing of the truth and a focus upon the breath. It is knowing the moment the wind changes.
The difficulty is this: there is no You that is separate from your thoughts, so You can never be free of thoughts. You have to stop trying and give up and "die". The search has to end before anything can happen.

If there was a "way" such as reading a book or attending a talk, everybody would do it and the world would be a wonderful place. No chance.

I know. I was being quite conservative in my estimate. Truly I would have to say a billion or more have been directly and indirectly effected in some positive way by the teachings of J. Krishanmurti. I know personally I have effected several thousand people in a positive way and many of those including 17 members of my own family have been very positively effected by me and have changed their lives for the better.
This is directly due to the teachings of Krishnamurti and the positive affects they have had on my life. If I have affected thousands, then surely the thousands of people that were closer to him than I have affected thousands and those thousands and so on. Simple mathematics my friends. There is no law written in stone that one must read another's book to be affected by them.
I am a vegan raw food organic chef, a massage therapist, an acupuncturist, an herbologist and an alternative energy consultant, designer and builder and no one has read my "book."
Yet everyone that has eaten my food or started running their vehicles on vegetable oil or started using solar or wind power or had a treatment by me have all been affected positively. And their families and their friends that are affected by what they see and what they learn from them and on and on again.
And yes, I have a very good idea of what he was saying. Ever since I first heard him speak everything he said resounded deeply within me and every time I visit his school in Ojai the children there that study his teachings know. All you need to do is look into their eyes to see that.

Many humans and animals have the power to cure. I have personally seen many people cured of many diseases, ailments including cancer thru direct change brought about by naturopathic and spiritual "healers". I know of a reiki master group that flies all around the world to cancer wards in hospitals and lays hands on cancer victims and many of them go into remission without chemo or radiation within days or weeks. Many of them have never had the cancer return.
The laying on of hands, human contact and the power of faith have always been a great healing force in all "religions", belief systems and walks of life. Hundreds of trillions of people have believed this throughout all of time. Never underestimate the power of the human psyche.

As to your slander of Krishnamurti; the man is human. He never claimed to be a master or an enlightened being and consistently shunned the tag he was constantly given as world teacher. He even dissolved a group with tens of thousands of members that was almost forcing this role upon him.
The man is an amazing philosopher and an amazing teacher. That is all. He is not perfect, he is not above human, he is not the Buddha, he is not God, he is not floating above the earth, he is not the chosen one. This is the way I plan to die when death comes. Free of modern medicine. Who wants to die in a sterile hospital room drugged so heavily you won't know up from down? I've had brushes with death and they were all pleasant aside from the experience of being cooped up in a hospital on drugs. When you're in great pain the body will produce's it's own medicine in the right amount that's needed so why interfere? Generally speaking, the body doesn't need our help. How could it be otherwise?

It may be possible that these techniques have not worked for you because you have not truly or fully tried them or possibly just have not tried them for long enough periods of time to witness the results. But these things have worked VERY WELL for myself and many people whom I know personally including members of my own family. I attribute much of my success and my amazing life greatly to these two things and to the teachings of J. Krishnamurti.

"Gurus" are only teachers. Teachers are extremely important in many ways. If in no other way, then at least to put you on the correct path to "unlearning." A teacher can be anything. I know. I was being quite conservative in my estimate. Truly I would have to say a billion or more have been directly and indirectly effected in some positive way by the teachings of J. Krishanmurti. I know personally I have effected several thousand people in a positive way and many of those including 17 members of my own family have been very positively effected by me and have changed their lives for the better.

Many humans and animals have the power to cure. I have personally seen many people cured of many diseases, ailments including cancer thru direct change brought about by naturopathic and spiritual "healers". I know of a reiki master group that flies all around the world to cancer wards in hospitals and lays hands on cancer victims and many of them go into remission without chemo or radiation within days or weeks. Many of them have never had the cancer return.

Get all the facts first before defending someone. I have read the book and I have read many articles that explained how jaded the book was. I am actually going to interview the author in a couple weeks.
As to your slander of Krishnamurti; the man is human. He never claimed to be a master or an enlightened being and consistently shunned the tag he was constantly given as world teacher. He even dissolved a group with tens of thousands of members that was almost forcing this role upon him.

He is not perfect, he is not above human, he is not the Buddha, he is not God, he is not floating above the earth, he is not the chosen one. The man had an infinite amount of beauty, light, wisdom and knowledge to spread and did so to tens of millions of people who learned much about themselves and life in general directly thru his teachings. He was a true guru. This cannot be argued.

I dont know who you are talking about JK or UG. Both of them claimed to have either a benediction or otherness thrust upon him (JK) or a calamity (UG) thrust upon them. This is the main reason why people hang out with them, besides the fact that their philosophies are fascinating and entertaining.
Please do your homework and check the facts about both JK and UG and the incidents that changed their lives and "freed" them.

The man was one of the most, if not the wisest, well spoken, self-realized and amazing philosophers of my lifetime. I learned much from him as did tens of millions of others. I can truly say that I have advanced more in my rationale, logic, wisdom and intellect from listening and reading JK than any other philosopher. I have to get him at least partial credit (if not most of the credit) for where I have gotten today. Which I must say is quite far...
