I am so sorry about the loss of your best friend Ella. I cried so much watching this. I lost my 6 year old giant schnauzer Alexis to cancer 5 months ago. I now have an adorable miniature schnauzer puppy, but i still miss Alexis every day. She was my first dog and she will always be very special to me. Until we meet again - i know you will wait for me on the other side.

I lost my last two with two weeks of each other three years ago. OH how I miss them and how I want them back. Lefty stole my heart, he was my pet soul mate and the love of my life beside God. I'm not gonna lie, I cried. What a beautiful Schnauzer. I honestly don't know what I would do without my Schnauzer, even with 2 other dogs (Golden Retrievers) my schnauzer "Snickers" is the one I had an instant connection with, and no matter what she's there, wagging her short little tail waiting for a tennis ball :')

I cried so much whilst watching your video, to see the bond between you and Ella, the love in her eyes… the same love i see in my own schnauzer VROUM. He just turned 7 - i think i cried because i realise one day he'll be gone too, like Ella. I can only imagine the pain.
The vet there thinks that it might be something to do with the spine or abdomen but I think something is more sinister at work… is there anything else I need to look out for? I am so damn worried now...
The vets there manage to stabilize him and diagnosed him as having a very low potassium levels. (1. something I think when the usual is three). He was stabilized and is resting at the vet’s clinic now. He was much better yesterday but didn’t look to good today. He had shows head tilt (but he is suffering from a slight ear infection on that side) and walks really slowly.
something he has never done in the past 10 years. He would lie down a lot and would yelp occasionally when we tried to move him. His nose was leathery and dry and he would lick the air periodically. 2 days ago, as my mum was coaxing him to get some food, he arched his back and stiffened his neck and rolled over. We rushed him to a vet. He rolled over again just outside the vet.
I have a miniature schnauzer by the name of Sumo. 4 days ago, he started getting really lethargic and slow. Though his bowel movements were still good and he had good appetite, we noticed a couple of disturbing behavior. He wouldn’t pick up food from the floor and would retract back when we tried to pat him on the head…
Such a precious little girl. My heart hurts for you and your loss. Ella was indeed a dear companion for you but you sir, were a wonderful master to her. You were lucky to have had each other for the time you had. Think of Ella bouncing on the clouds as she watches you go on, knowing how much you loved her.
So many of us are losing our dogs to cancer ...... it's so heartbreaking. I lost my girl Frannie this past February and I've missed her so desperately. She died 2 days before her 11th birthday. They're such a huge part of our lives and when they're gone, a part of us goes with them. She had so much love to give and I'm sure your Ella was the same. I can't say that my heart will heal but I do know that it's fuller for having known my Frannie.

Sorry for your loss. I just lost my Gomer 12-21-10 he had a tumor on his back and suffered from seizures. I feel your pain. My Schnauzer was 14 yrs old. Its hard to say good bye. They are just like our children. God Bless!

I also had a Schnauzer, but he died in November 2008 of liver cancer! I'll never forget it .. I made up a tattoo in his honor on my wrist, and always gives me miss I look at it and I keep remembering all the times we spent together! He will be forever in my heart ...
Schnauzers are the BEST dogs ever! i grew up with them all my life. I just put my 15 year old schnauzer Jake down in August. It's never easy. Today I find myself missing him. He was a rescue dog too. I still have another schnauzer, Lily who just turned 3. She's my baby girl and she also misses our sweet old Jake. Beautiful video!!!! I bought Ducke but he was deeply sick , some weeks after having convulsions and lots of health problems he died,,,,,I couldn´t stand it , it was really hard,,,,,,,but those from the pet´s shop due to avoid the problems in court I was ready to start decided to give me another baby,,,,,,at first I didn´t want , but then my vet gave me some advice and I accepted,,,,,I saw several of them,,,,,it was painful because they didn´t care even if they were teething to give me one.....one day they called me

No-one really understands the bond between a mini schnauzer and their owner. I am convinced that these gorgeous little creatures are more human than dog. Their eyes are filled with love for you, and it makes you melt every time.

Mark, I really enjoyed your tribute to Ella. My Schnauzer, Shania passed away last December after a 3 year bout with Diabetes. I know how tough it is to lose something so special. She was my "Little Girl", who was there for me through good and bad times, and often seemed like she could read my mind, and know what I was feeling. It seems to me by seeing other videos, that, schnauzer owners are a special breed, just like our dogs.They may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts thanks
aawww she so pretty:) we had to put our schanuzer (SPRITZ) of 14yrs down,in feb due to epilpsey. it got worse as he aged and we just couldnt watch him suffer anymore. i miss him soooo much:(

This is a beautiful tribute. I very rarely get upset at anything like this, but when I watched Ella grow from a tiny pup into a mature lady, it did make me cry. My own Miniature Schnauzer, Vinnie, is only 6 months old, but already he's become a massively loved member of the family.

Sorry for your loss. My Mini Schnauzer died 2 days ago from a brain tumor. His name was Bandit and he was 9 years old, too young to go. But arent they always.

Dogs are wonderful creatures aren't they? :) Our family is schnauzer lovers and we have had 5 so far. I know exactly what your feeling as our first three schnauzers didnt live past ten :'( taken at such a young age by cancer. The main thing is that Ella got to live out her life in such a caring and loving household. Personally I think you should get another- i know it seems impossible but we got two after we lost the three and they helped us heal :) rest in peace ella

I lost my salt and pepper schnauzer named chocco ;( this vid made me cry nice video my dog died 09-21-2009 1 day before my birthday to this day o don't know what he had we put him to sleep he didn't eat.. He barfed everything and he didn't drink water or respond to is calling him and he had a slot of trouble breathing... This is why I don't believe in god he took my most prized possesuon too soon....

I'm sorry for your loss...I know this is hard...I lost my beagle last September and Shotzie, my schnauzer has grieved ever since. Shotzie has health issues but is 13 so I just try and cherish every day I have with her. God Bless you!

We lost our first Schnauzer when she was 6 due to a tumour in her spleen which had spread before we realised, id really like to hear back about how old other peoples mini schnauzers are because im convinced they dont have a very long lifespan... they are THE best dog breed in the world and anyone who disagrees with that has never owned one! :)

Very sorry for your loss, I have one 7 months. He just went through a intestine problem, thought we were going loose him. Started preparing home meals of chicken,rice 7 veggies. I love Schnauzers. Get another one after you get through the greiving process.

I was deeply touched by your video. I don't mind telling you I cried. I had a Mini, her name was Sally. We went to college together and graduated. She died on her 16th birthday. I will always love her and she is always with me in my memories. She is buried at my mother's house so I can always go visit her. I am truly sorry for your loss. I had a schnauzer too, named Nikki. She was 15 when put to sleep on 23.03.08. She had nose cancer. I held her in my arms when she left me. It was painful. Today, in her memory, I have her tattooed on my back shoulder so that she can be with me forever. She was my best friend.
Wow, your dog was as old as mine when i had to put him to sleep. I miss my Beethoven as well, odd to think how much of lifelong pals we became.
He lived the life of a rock star though, pizza's, late nights, hanging out with my friends, and eating whatever in gods name was under the fridge door sometimes. took em about everywhere. :)

Her name is Miss Cinder and has been a big comfort to me. I got her after having to say goodbye to my black schnauzer of 16 years. Shaddow was his name and he followed me around for 16 years like a tail.

i felt that if we were deciding that it was her time before nature took her, we had a responsibility to be there with her. i loved her so much i wanted to be with her until the last second she was on the earth.
when i can afford it i will get another schnauzer. they are some of the best doggy companions i know of. Hildy was such a sweetie. she was so mild mannered and lovely. I am sorry for your loss MarkN8, and sharing things like this make it easier to cope with our losses.

my schnauzer, Hildy, just passed in November. We had to put her down, throat cancer. my dad and i were present when she passed, the saddest day of my life, as she was losing life I said repeatedly "We love you Hildy, we love you Hildy!" at the last minute she perked up and looked right into my dad's eyes, questioning what happened. I cry every time I think about that scene. She was one of my best friends for 12 years, not long enough. She slept in bed with me for the last several months..

These animals are wonderful creature and companions. It's been 8 months since loosing Ella and yet it still feels like yesterday. To me she was my companion and partner, friend and daughter. She also slept in bed with me every night, was so pleased to see me come home from work and enjoyed our walks together everyday.

It's never easy to deal with the heartache of losing your dog. I lost in the past and I'll lose the one we have one day. I have a miniature schnauzer by the name of Sumo. 4 days ago, he started getting really lethargic and slow. Though his bowel movements were still good and he had good appetite, we noticed a couple of disturbing behavior. He wouldn’t pick up food from the floor and would retract back when we tried to pat him on the head…

Such a precious little girl. My heart hurts for you and your loss. Ella was indeed a dear companion for you but you sir, were a wonderful master to her. You were lucky to have had each other for the time you had. Think of Ella bouncing on the clouds as she watches you go on, knowing how much you loved her.

So many of us are losing our dogs to cancer ...... it's so heartbreaking. I lost my girl Frannie this past February and I've missed her so desperately. She died 2 days before her 11th birthday. They're such a huge part of our lives and when they're gone, a part of us goes with them. She had so much love to give and I'm sure your Ella was the same. I can't say that my heart will heal but I do know that it's fuller for having known my Frannie.

I feel your joy and sorrow. I lost my beloved Matilda in Sept to cancer. They are a part of our lives. If they could only speak, what they would say to us. The unconditional love they give. This was a wonderful and beautiful tribute to your best friend.

Sorry for your loss. I just lost my Gomer 12-21-10 he had a tumor on his back and suffered from seizures. I feel your pain. My Schnauzer was 14 yrs old. Its hard to say good bye. They are just like our children. God Bless!

I also had a Schnauzer, but he died in November 2008 of liver cancer! I'll never forget it .. I made up a tattoo in his honor on my wrist, and always gives me miss I look at it and I keep remembering all the times we spent together! He will be forever in my heart ...

Schnauzers are the BEST dogs ever! i grew up with them all my life. I just put my 15 year old schnauzer Jake down in August. It's never easy. Today I find myself missing him. He was a rescue dog too. I still have another schnauzer, Lily who just turned 3. She's my baby girl and she also misses our sweet old Jake. Beautiful video!!!! Too all of us Schnauzer Lovers!!!! and RIP to all our friends we have lost! Have to stop now or I'm gonna cry........ God Bless!!

when I arrived at the pet´s shop I saw a beautiful and friendly Schnauzer I held her and told her I am you mum, she stared at me and since that moment I share all the happiness and sadness with her, she is my daughter and shines my days,,,sometimes I wonder who the animals are? ,,,,,,,,,Thanks for sharing your Ella with us because all the ones who have a Schnauzer at home know perfectly what we feel.........

I bought Ducke but he was deeply sick , some weeks after having convulsions and lots of health problems he died,,,,,I couldn´t stand it , it was really hard,,,,,,,but those from the pet´s shop due to avoid the problems in court I was ready to start decided to give me another baby,,,,,,at first I didn´t want , but then my vet gave me some advice and I accepted,,,,,I saw several of them,,,,,it was painful because they didn´t care even if they were teething to give me one.....one day they called me

No-one really understands the bond between a mini schnauzer and their owner. I am convinced that these gorgeous little creatures are more human than dog. Their eyes are filled with love for you, and it makes you melt every time.

Mark, I really enjoyed your tribute to Ella. My Schnauzer, Shania passed away last December after a 3 year bout with Diabetes. I know how tough it is to lose something so special. She was my "Little Girl", who was there for me through good and bad times, and often seemed like she could read my mind, and know what I was feeling. It seems to me by seeing other videos, that, schnauzer owners are a special breed, just like our dogs.They may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts thanks

aawww she so pretty:) we had to put our schanuzer (SPRITZ) of 14yrs down,in feb due to epilpsey. it got worse as he aged and we just couldnt watch him suffer anymore. i miss him soooo much:(

This is a beautiful tribute. I very rarely get upset at anything like this, but when I watched Ella grow from a tiny pup into a mature lady, it did make me cry. My own Miniature Schnauzer, Vinnie, is only 6 months old, but already he's become a massively loved member of the family.

Sorry for your loss. My Mini Schnauzer died 2 days ago from a brain tumor. His name was Bandit and he was 9 years old, too young to go. But arent they always.

Dogs are wonderful creatures aren't they? :) Our family is schnauzer lovers and we have had 5 so far. I know exactly what your feeling as our first three schnauzers didnt live past ten :'( taken at such a young age by cancer. The main thing is that Ella got to live out her life in such a caring and loving household. Personally I think you should get another- i know it seems impossible but we got two after we lost the three and they helped us heal :) rest in peace ella

I lost my salt and pepper schnauzer named chocco ;( this vid made me cry nice video my dog died 09-21-2009 1 day before my birthday to this day o don't know what he had we put him to sleep he didn't eat.. He barfed everything and he didn't drink water or respond to is calling him and he had a slot of trouble breathing... This is why I don't believe in god he took my most prized possesuon too soon....

We lost our first Schnauzer when she was 6 due to a tumour in her spleen which had spread before we realised, id really like to hear back about how old other peoples mini schnauzers are because im convinced they dont have a very long lifespan... they are THE best dog breed in the world and anyone who disagrees with that has never owned one! :)

Very sorry for your loss, I have one 7 months. He just went through a intestine problem, thought we were going loose him. Started preparing home meals of chicken,rice 7 veggies. I love Schnauzers. Get another one after you get through the greiving process.

I was deeply touched by your video. I don't mind telling you I cried. I had a Mini, her name was Sally. We went to college together and graduated. She died on her 16th birthday. I will always love her and she is always with me in my memories. She is buried at my mother's house so I can always go visit her. I am truly sorry for your loss. I believe all dogs go to heaven and are puppies again. I have another Schnauzer; his name is Lucas. God bless you!

I had a schnauzer too, named Nikki. She was 15 when put to sleep on 23.03.08. She had nose cancer. I held her in my arms when she left me. It was painful. Today, in her memory, I have her tattooed on my back shoulder so that she can be with me forever. She was my best friend.

Wow, your dog was as old as mine when i had to put him to sleep. I miss my Beethoven as well, odd to think how much of lifelong pals we became.
He lived the life of a rock star though, pizza's, late nights, hanging out with my friends, and eating whatever in gods name was under the fridge door sometimes. took em about everywhere. :)

I have a dog that looks just like your Ella.
Her name is Miss Cinder and has been a big comfort to me. I got her after having to say goodbye to my black schnauzer of 16 years. Shaddow was his name and he followed me around for 16 years like a tail.
I can't imagine a home without a schnauzer in it.

I have a 3 year old mini who has been riddled with health problems since the day we brought her home. But, despite her health she enjoys life in a way I never dreamed possible and I am convinced there could never be a better dog. She means the world to me as it's obvious your Ella did to you.

Miniature Schnauzers have such human qualities and are so incredibly smart. They can make us laugh, protect us to the death, and I am certain they understand human vocabulary. my schnauzer, Hildy, just passed in November. We had to put her down, throat cancer. my dad and i were present when she passed, the saddest day of my life, as she was losing life I said repeatedly "We love you Hildy, we love you Hildy!" at the last minute she perked up and looked right into my dad's eyes, questioning what happened. I cry every time I think about that scene. She was one of my best friends for 12 years, not long enough. She slept in bed with me for the last several months..

These animals are wonderful creature and companions. It's been 8 months since loosing Ella and yet it still feels like yesterday. To me she was my companion and partner, friend and daughter. She also slept in bed with me every night, was so pleased to see me come home from work and enjoyed our walks together everyday.

It's never easy to deal with the heartache of losing your dog. I lost in the past and I'll lose the one we have one day. The most important thing is to do your best to love & care them, so you know he/she enjoyed life with you, and I can see from your pictures that Ella enjoyed her life with you. u honestly never know how much you miss a loved one whether it be pet or human, it never fails to still catch me everytime i or anyone else loses loved ones

I'm so sorry for your loss!! I just lost my Miniature Schnauzer Reggie to cancer 3 weeks ago . He was only 2 years old but he was my furbaby! I will miss him every day for the rest of my life!!!! God bless and I hope you will get another dog to help comfort you.

My heart goes out to you, I can tell by this video Ella was a lucky dog to be so loved and you lucky to have such a special friend for so many years. My Schnauzer and I will say a prayer for the both of you tonight. Although Ella will never be replaced try to remember their is another willing Schnauzer ready to give you its love and share in your life.
