had a 72, maroon with white stripes, i'm considering selling the boat to build one again, I have a stock 64 vett motor waiting for a chassis, watching this made me realize a big block is the way to go. this is one tricked out pony, 10 to 12 mpg that would never happen, pedal to the carpet baby, because thats the way i roll
Just my opinion but I would rather have a classic car that performs like a champion. Idk if u know this but in 1972 the car probably didn't perform very well. Nothing wrong with making some upgrades. Get over it
So I adore the cars paint, awesome rims and even respect the 502. Everything is very clean. BUT!!! it literally hurts me to see what you've done to the this car. All of this car's classical integrity has been removed! its an abomination. Its just my person opinion but doesn't it defeat the purpose of having a classic car if you literally change all the OEM parts minus the body? I like the 502 but you could have gotten the same results with sticking with a 454, LSX 454 620 hp out of the box. sad
@humblemumble I wouldn't dare to call it an abomination. It's an excellent car, clean and cared for. It's likely that the car was rescued from a rust pit. So, until you have the history, I don't think it's even close to fair to critique it the way you did. Nevermind you essentially took a piss on the man's car, hours and money by calling it an abomination.
Looks like a March Performance serpentine belt set up. Do you know which one it is?
