plz help on spyro the eternal night when i enter in the ps2 the little icon of spyro comes up and stays there for like ever is it supposed to do that. it was scratched so i used remedees but they said rub in circle so i did ,but i found a penutbutter 1 and it said to not do that so i did the penutbutter and rubbed from the middle of disck out.how long is the spyro supposed to be there and do i need a knew one?

I CANNOT beat this game on PS2, the arena stage is impossible, i cannot beat the scorpions someone please tell me what im supposed to do to do this "knockup" attack

To beat the scorpions, hold the joystick up, jump, and hold the attack button in front of their claws. This will most likely cause them to plop on their backs. Perform a horn dive or whatever it's called to squash them. It took me a while to figure it out, too.

the last spyro game i played was year of the dragon. i think its the third one. best one is riptos rage. i just saw this trailer and the first thing i noticed was spyro's voice is different. i giggled and said wtf? and this game has a more darker tone to it. why? this doesnt feel like a spyro game

A reboot is just that....starting over DIFFERENTLY.........Besides, Insomniac and the others didn't want to work on Spyro anymore so they gave his rights to Sierra. I don't know why they gave it away, but I'm not complainin...eh...don't mind me...I rarely make any sense at all...-flee- .-.

I really don't see why people hate these new spyro games.. You actually get to do something DIFFERENT in the new spyro ones. This is my favorite spyro game out of all of them. I've been playing spyro since the first game came out, and I'm glad they took a turn and created the new games.

Err... not many people hate new spyro. look at how much fan art, and fans there are for this game.

I don't have many of the new spyro games, but I think I have enough to say that new spyro is a rip-off compared to the classic. insomniac made spyro special.... Spyro's just missing something in the new games.... other than his voice (the new voices suck!) but I don't know what that something is. this gmae, however looks like a good new spyro type. I'm going to look for this in stores now. :)

1) isnt this game a loooooooootttttt like the previous one errr a new beginning

2) the old games for PS! are sooo batter these are just fight fight fight it is so boring

3) they shouldnt have changes it you can die a lot on this its just boring and the story line seems quite similar to the previous game

I have all Spyro games, except the Nintendo DS versions, and I will say that Spyro is NOT the same; he has grown up. I really have enjoyed playing over and over all the old Spyro games but the new Legend of Spyro A New Beginning and Eternal Night are even better and more challenging. Keep up the good work; I am already waiting for the next Legend of Spyro game.

You know, I'm one o the original spyro players who's been around since the ebginning, and asides from the fact he looks pretty damn ugly on the box covers (it''s like crazy frog meets spyro) I don't see much bad. A couple of the PS2 games were bad, but the new games, set in another unvierse are a lot better than people give them credit for because they're so stuck on the old games.

I only played it for a bit - but I usually hate ALL side scrolling games, because they feel so low-tech to me these days (I'm studying animation so I know a bit about computer games - not much, but enough to know side scrolling games are very much last centuries entertainment).

Anyway because I hate all scrolling games, I didn't judge the spyro ones any differently.

Besides the games on the PS2 are beautifully animated and rendered for the current technology.
