  • yea i made a costom map whit a air ship in it i added a lava tanks to simulate full and well sinse lava afexter the corno block at the time my ship burn will i was doing oder shit

  • @MrKermic It's called "Yakety Sax" and it's by Benny Hill.

    Just google it.

  • I come back to watch this video every couple of weeks for a good laugh. Thank you, minecraft fire man <3

  • @xxNightingalexx You're very welcome ^^

  • lol i did the exact same thing a month ago

  • Im awesome coz i read the tags :D

  • You had no chance... I say dsit back and enjoy it

  • I think every minecrafter has been through this once (at least!) but putting it to Yakkity Sax? Art. Well played sir.

  • it kinda looks like u used flint n steel

  • @TheEvilninja95 Yes, on the fireplace.

I watched it a few seconds and thought all was fine, so I turned around to keep working on the house.

Then suddenly I was engulfed in fire.

I did not leave enough room above the fire, so it spread to the sides ^^"

  • @LoodleRyuzaki well,i suppose your loss was my (and others) gain, because of this i figured out why my house was burning every time i lit the Netherrack.also because it was pretty goddamn funny :P

  • oloolololoololololololoololololol thant what happen to me right know and it took me 5 hours to finish

  • and that children is why you dont build a wooden house in multiplayer

  • and people wonder why i always make my house out of dirt

  • @MRXXL100 yep XD

  • Snap u fail

  • Should have gotten water buckets to put it out

  • Lmao nice dude, epic xD

  • wellat least mobs wont spawn there

  • I put a chimney on my wooden house. Nothing happened. :P I didnt put a fireplace or anything though just a brick chimney

  • Aw no mic audio? I can just imagine it "FUCK FUCK! NO! FUCK ME! SHIT ALL MY HARD WORK!" one thing i learned chimney in wooden mansions work just make the it where there is no wood around it for 3 or 4 blocks

  • @GhostTeam21 Actually, I was pretty calm when it happened ^^

I was more excited about my first ever fire in minecraft XD

Although it was the first house I was really proud of...

As you can see I switched to peacefull when it startet burning and rebuilt it. Afterwards I burnt it down again on purpose, because I felt like I cheated.

Also, the problem wasn't the wood around it, but that there wasn't enough room above it.

When the fireplace is cramped, it's more likely for the fire to spread.

  • yep happened to my friend, we mined we came home,we lost half our house

  • @LoodleRyuzaki nice video

whats the name of the music?

  • @TheLegendTiti Yakety Sax, also known as the Benny Hill music.

  • @LoodleRyuzaki thanks :D

    and funny video! xD

  • I half expected you to raegquit. xD

  • @bluekitties517 Nah, not my style ^^

Also, it was my first fire, so I was more excited then frustrated.

  • I burned down all the trees in one big island, hows that -.-

  • You're not the best fireman lol :D

  • YOU SON OF A HAMBURGER MAN YOU LOST ALL THAT WOOD !!! XD

  • single player commands + "extinguish [all]" = result

  • @DanHDMusic singleplayer commands = all fun taken out of the game

  • @LoodleRyuzaki except when your fun is building rather than surviving (:

  • @LoodleRyuzaki Not really, you can do alot with spc, like build adventure maps or parkour maps etc and spawn stuff to make huge buildings.

  • stone>wood

  • now ill defenitly put a big fireplace in my wood house!

  • i packed ym huse with 6 things of TnT then forgot you cant pick them up, so i was like 'shiuld i bow them up?' i ended up hitting one and had to rebuild the whole thing from scratch, i lost chests, ladders, gold, pumpkins, lol :P

  • lol this happened to me when i put a nether portal on top of my house. I lit it ok but my house wasnt

  • Thank You.

    Now

  • This happend to me...........twice

  • i would spend hours making a mansion just to set it on fire(or explode it) on purpose because im a pyromaniac but i don't own minecraft so there is no point.

  • days

  • Mines the worst ever i had 20 castles 14 towns (55) 12 villages and i played minecraft for almost 1 year like 354

  • @fancyncv110 who makes fucking castles out of wood and doesnt back up a save with a years data on it?

    pics or it didnt happen

  • I made a house and was making a badtub with a lava heating......

yep it burned and now i'm trying to make a mansion out of stone just so it won't burn again.

  • @MartijnHJ If you want to keep the wood look, you can use wooden half steps. They're just a reskin of stone half steps, so they don't burn.

But that might get changed soon.

You can however experiment, by making a lava pool and place wood blocks in different distances, to see how many blocks apart from the lava it has to be to not burn and then make one room in the mansion out of unburnable material, where you then make your pool.

Clean stone halfsteps look nice around pools

  • @LoodleRyuzaki or u can do 1 layer of wood on da out side n stone on da insie or vis versa

  • @MartijnHJ yea i got that too and when i wanted to make a chimney too it burned too i hate much water buckets so its not all gone but i hate to fix it much (dutch so my english sucks:P)

  • Bah. I've had worse, believe me.

  • @Catisbackable Me too. I've made quite a big town (all wooden buildings) in a forest biome.

Then a surface lava lake set the forest on fire. Nothing was left but a few stairs, fences, bricks and glass.

When I recorded this I was only playing Minecraft for a few weeks and had never encountered a fire.

  • @LoodleRyuzaki

That's nothing. Built 3 big towns and 12 villages so me and my friends can play on. Made a chimney, one town burnt. Spreaded to the trees around it to the next and to 3 villages. Then the utter terror truly begun. There was a huge forest made by my friend by sapling and bone meal so we could do a quest. Burnt all down to the NEXT town and to the next town. Kept going until all destroyed. A few months of my life wasted. Still going if I go to the save (yeah I still have it)

  • This is why we make backups in the ROM-hacking business... I suggest you do the same

  • @XavTheMinecrafter That's fucking lame. If your actions and failures have no repercussion, what are you playing survival for?

  • Comment removed

  • @LoodleRyuzaki Well I sure as hell know I'm not rebuilding my entire mansion. Besides, it's really not fair if you have no idea how fire works.

  • @XavTheMinecrafter That's why you should experiment first.

I skipped that step, which lead to this ^^

I had an entire world of mine burn down because of a surface lava lake, THEN I would have liked to have a backup, but this was my own fault, so using a backup here is at the same level as using inventory edit: cheating.

  • @LoodleRyuzaki Ah. Well, I didn't know. I actually didn't experiment first. Anyway, sorry if I sounded like a tool.

  • @XavTheMinecrafter Nah, this isn't about who's right and who's wrong, this is just a difference of opinions ^^

I should be the one apologizing. I got a bit carried away there.

  • @LoodleRyuzaki It's ok, this happens to me a lot. I seem to have that effect on people...

  • and this is why i use cooblestone for my house

  • i did the same thing today and i fucking screamed my head off cuz it looked soooo good!!

  • Same thing happened to me. I built a stone fireplace in my wooden house and figured it wouldn't burn seeing as how no wood was touching the fire place (makes sense), but no! Almost immediately my house was burning.

I managed to save it from complete destruction though.

  • ....And there was light?''

  • i kno how to make an efficient fireplace in a wooden house i could show u if u like

  • @mugzmaginy I know how to do it, this was just my very firt try and I didn't leave enough room above the fire, so it spread.

  • @mugzmaginy so how do you?

  • @mugzmaginy how?

  • @Midogel It's actually very easy.

It just has to have at least trhree air blocks above the block you set on fire (that's what happened here, I just left 2) and encase the fireplace in bricks.

Leave one side open, but place halfblocks right before the fire. That's the most secure way of making a chimney.

Also, make sure that the burning block doesn't touch any wooden or other burnable blocks, even beneath it.

Experiment outside before you do it in an actual house

  • ....And thats why they made brick."

  • now that just needs to happen to obama

  • only real men fight fires with their bare hands. now do it on hard

  • @steamywaffles Yeah, this was the only time I ever played on peaceful (because I was already on fire when I alt+tab'ed back to the game). I punished myself for it by burning the rebuilt house again ^^

  • Only you can prevent towering mansion infernos!

  • it appen to me too :)

atleast it wasent my mansion but my little shack near it.

  • @iamdooingyermom just yesterday my favorite single player world went up in flames...

I spawned in a giant forest biome and buit a pretty big town full of wooden houses, a windmill, a church, and when I went exploring the world, I came across a surface lava stream, that ignited the trees...

Long story short: nothing was left but a few floating stairs and fences XD

  • three words...bucket.. of... water..

  • @RayisSHORT Didn't have one with me.

Besides, one time a cave i made got flooded and I had fires to light the place. And the water just flowed around them. It might keep the fire from spreading, but I think it only puts out fires if it flows down on it from above.

  • This would be sad without that song...

  • @inyourfacesociety I actually was kind of excited ^^

    It was my first fire

  • a file you dont keep backups of is a file you dont love...

  • @booboo481 I'm only playing Minecraft for 6 weeks now, I didn't know how to do backups back when this happened. And this is my only world.

Besides, I would only use backups if my safestate was broken, because it doesn't really feel like survival if you could just fix mistakes you made by reloading.

I also burnt down the house again on purpose after I rebuilt it, because I felt like a pussy for putting out the fire and rebuilding the house in peacefull.

  • this is why i build out of cobblestone/stone

  • only my house reduced to dirt

  • this is great same thing happened to me

  • i would perfer an iron axe from your quick bar

  • ha ha ha ha it also happened to me :D
