@ICON7T6 Actually I have really enjoyed having the option to use Flash or not on my Android phones so far. Its a nice option to have. The key word is OPTION though, something that the iPhone lacks in so many ways. I use Flash everyday that I go online with my Droid. I have it set up so that the Flash content only plays when I tap on it. That is the best way to have it in my opinion. Flash is only one thing out of many that makes Android better. Sad to see it go but its hardly a reason to switch
@sitbackrelaxxx I think that we dont have anything to worry about. Adobe will stop developing the flash app for Android but they made it clear that they will still be providing patches and security updates. Furthermore, it will take time (probably years) until most websites using flash can port to HTML5 and Adobe Air. Your use of the word "option" is perfect. Synonimously, it is like an car dealer lending us a loaner until we get our new car. Some are not that fortunate to have that option. ;)

Android fixes the problems they find instead of using Apples method of dealing with problems. Bottom line, Android devices offer more then the iPhone therefore Android makes superior devices, thats what matters. People stay with what they are used to but once people give Android a 100% honest try, more often then not they stay with Android

@ICON7T6 Actually I have really enjoyed having the option to use Flash or not on my Android phones so far. Its a nice option to have. The key word is OPTION though, something that the iPhone lacks in so many ways. I use Flash everyday that I go online with my Droid. I have it set up so that the Flash content only plays when I tap on it. That is the best way to have it in my opinion. Flash is only one thing out of many that makes Android better. Sad to see it go but its hardly a reason to switch

Adobe will stop developing the flash app for Android but they made it clear that they will still be providing patches and security updates. Furthermore, it will take time (probably years) until most websites using flash can port to HTML5 and Adobe Air. Your use of the word "option" is perfect. Synonimously, it is like an car dealer lending us a loaner until we get our new car. Some are not that fortunate to have that option. ;)

Yes its sucks that Flash is leaving mobile devices, but having Flash is a great thing not bad. At the end of the Flashs lifecycle, Android devices still will be able to access dynamic web pages via HTML5 and Adobe Air, so why are Apple fanboys celebrating. In the meantime Android will still be able to enjoy a couple more years of Flash. I don't know what Apple fanboys are so happy about, Android is not the one missing out on anything, lol.

Android fixes the problems they find instead of using Apples method of dealing with problems. Bottom line, Android devices offer more then the iPhone therefore Android makes superior devices, thats what matters. People stay with what they are used to but once people give Android a 100% honest try, more often then not they stay with Android

If you find a third party app that you want, research about it first. Find threads about it. Eithey way you cut it, the fact that you have the option to have them is a big deal breaker along with many other things. They offer a ton more options which requires more reading and settings but that is a great thing. If you know how to read then you know how to operate an Android phone, any Android phone. As for the malware issue, I have never known anyone to have this issue because I don't know any stupid people. That is like saying that PCs aren't good because they are open to viruses.
