If they did that they would have to make sure none of the noise from a video shoot doesn't get into the final product. It doesn't mean they are bad singers. I've watched this video several times, and just noticed: (a) how the padded shoulders in Donny's jacket help accentuate the "nerdiness" of his dance moves (good costume choice!) and (b) the finger-spelling at 2:04 of ROTFLOL, at what (to me) is blinding speed.
