I try to make a song like this, but I always end up adding too much reverb or delay to everything and it muddles up the song. I use FL Studio 8 XXL Producer's Edition. I want the song to have "depth", but I end up ruining it. How do you add some depth, but keep the song "crisp" sounding?

As far as crisp goes, I'm not really sure xD. When I made this song I didn't have much of an idea of how songs were supposed to sound. I only made what I thought sounded cool and "right". Depth comes when you continue to expand on the song, not just add on to it. I'm sure you'll be able to get it down in a bit. Just play with the song and actually try to have fun ^^

when I was making this song I was using Fruity Loops, but now I'm using ableton live.

Honestly the only great tips I can give u is work hard and use ur soul to make the song not just ur thoughts. It has to have emotion.

Awesome bassline in the beginning and end. I love the synth too. Awesome drumroll too, I always try to make a complex one, but it's too hard for me.  I could probably do it, but it takes too much time for me. Anyway, great song. [I stick it in my i-Pod]

I really enjoyed the kick on this track. Instead of being typical lame bassboosted monotonic "j-core" kick (which is just too typical for this kinda music), you kept the hardness on the kick.
