  • REST IN PEACE MI AMIGO AND THANK YOU FOR THE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC YOU GAVE THE WORLD.

  • *THANK YOU SO MUCH for this version of "La Golondrina". I love this beautiful Mexican song of Narciso Serradell Sevilla so much and have now more than 800 versions /instrumentals and songs/ world-wide. REGARDS!

  • Ya lo prove. El 1955 no es la gran cosa. Alguien deberia decirle a los gringos que hay algo mejor que comer en McDonalds...

  • This is a Mexican song written in the 1800's and marks any and all occasions of farewells. I didn't know Chet Atkins would have played it. It is a very soulful version, but I prefer the original versions from Mexico.

  • solomon king

    she wears my ring

    same tune yes ?

  • A lovely tune and excellent pickin'!! - And fine pictures!!

I believe this tune (a quite different version) was used in a western movie in the early '70s with William Holden as one of the main characters

  • The movie was "The Wild Bunch". I have just finished watching it on TV.

  • @JAGU54 It was also played briefly on the fiddle in Starship Troopers.
