@mbbs5000 does yours have a tail? A lot of people mistake cardigan to mean a brown corgi, but really it is either a dark or light colored corgi but it has a full tail, instead of docked.
@BLeGal2 A cardigan is a different dog completely than the pembroke, it's more than just the tail.
A cardigan generally has more "rustic" colors, like a red or blue merle pattern, as well as black and white, which is very rare for a pembroke. The cardigan is also larger on average, and is longer, with a more square face.
Sometimes pembrokes keep their tails, and both breeds are genetically prone to "fluffies", which give them long hair similar to a border collie.
@EmiTheGreat most corgis will start to jump even though they shouldn't. you should be really careful about how high a jump is for them because if it's 2 feet or more and they are small then they will easily hurt themselves.
He's probably telling that bird to shut the hell up. Haha. Corgi's are so cute, but those big ears sometimes get too sensitive. I know my Sheltie/Jack Russell's ears are large, & he's had sensitive ears for shrill, high pitched noises.
@ArtxReign It is possible to save money, which anyone serious about a breed (thinking it is cute ain't enough) would do if they really wanted it. Too bad that people try to go cheap when in fact we're dealing with alive individuals and a lot of the dog breeders out there breed sick or otherwise unsuitable dogs to feed the demand for cheap....
Wow baby Ein!

hmm is that a cardigan or a pembroke? looks like a cardigan to me because of the larger ears/longer body.

At what age does a Corgi leave its fear to jump off a couch?
Mine is nearing 4 months.
