I appreciate that they covered my hero Jimi, but they honestly took all of the raw, powerful energy out of the song and replaced it with a mediocre, half tab of acid trip.

I was at Rip Rocks one night after work with all my co-workers.It was getting late ,so we were all leaving at about 10:00PM.Suddenly the DJ put this on and a young man jumped up on the dance floor/stage and began dancing like I had never seen before. I think this is a nice cover, at least they put their own slant on it (unlike a lot of bands who cover the cure ie: AFI). Obviously it's not gonna 'beat' the original, covers aren't supposed to. It's a tribute, not a competition!

this is an abomination. ive listened to the rest of the stone free tribute, and this song stands out as the rudest offense. it sounds absolutely nothing like the original song, doesnt even bear any resemblance to it. in fact, its so awful, its made never want to listen to the cure ever again. i understand that its a cover song, but it seriously sounds like a rude, poorly made, bastardized version of an excellent song. just awful
