Get the right driver and add a couple mods just simple things and im sure it'll beat it or stay right next to it.. the supra really just gets a good launch. If he woulda went from say a 35 roll the mustang mighta won. By the way im a die hard ford fan and I dont think like that or get all upset nor once said well take the turbo off. Mustangs only had two good year's since the 60's 03/04 and the camaro was not even in production or probably would have been faster.....5.0 good engine but weak compared to the LT1.....4.6L too many problems and nothing compared to the LS1....Now even the new 5.0 that was supposed to save they day is still slower then the SS

@reverseoreo08 The new camaro SS ran a 12.6 bone stock the video is right here on youtube......The new mustang has not beat that time...The problem list for the 4.6L, it blows spark plugs right out of the head ripping the thread out with them....Poor oil circulation in the bottom end lead to main, rod bearing clatter.....Split plastic intakes in the water passage directly behind the alternator that leak antifreeze......I'm a BMW fan....I just know a better V8 when I see one.

I have built a very nice clean but reliable M3 the right way....I too have owned many types of cars. My first was a 1G awd turbo talon. @xj220se I'll tell you why, because "properly modded" Mustangs are built big block engines running nitrous in a completely gutted tin can shell, while those Supras that run 7s are full-weight, with A/C. The Titan 7.71 second 6-speed has EVERYTHING inside it. If they gutted it, you'd see a massive difference. It's not worth bragging about a car that weighs 2000lb that does 7 seconds, while there's one with half the engine and 1700lb extra that does the same thing.
