  • That Speed/Duration button was hiding in a HUGE right-click menu. Thanks for making this. (I thought that you had to add a keyframe and use an effect to fast forward/slow the video)

  • frame blending or pixel motion?

  • One question about Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5. Why I have to enter a keygen every single day? What i've done wrong.

    Thanks

  • I love you!!!! :D

  • heh its that simple XD could never have figured it out myself though :P

  • now if say you have a 10 second clip and you only want 4 seconds in the middle to be fast how do you do that i can figure it out PLEASE HELP

  • @MrKONA604 Keyframe it or cut the clip into smaller pieces

  • @MrKONA604 jUST trim it, into three sections...say you have the 1-4 seconds as one section, leave that alone, then slow down the 4-8 seconds, and them normal for 8-10

  • ty brewski

  • What if you only want to slow down a certain portion of the video clip? For example if you want it at normal speed when you're pointing your gun around, but then want your jump down in slow motion?

  • @itrhybrid you could maybe split the clip into 3 parts. pointing the gun, jumping down, and then hitting the ground and then just do this for the clip you want to slow down i.e. the middle one

  • @kiesco32 I just started learning Adobe Premier, so I'll have to learn how to split the clip into parts too. Thanks for the reply.

  • 0:34 - 0:39 you didn't say cs5......i have cs5

  • im subscribing

  • Nice one, so simple. :)

  • @DiMcoProductions how do you only fastforward a certain part of the video?

  • its better to change the fps by right clicking on the file and hitting modify when the clip is in the file bin. much less 'choppy' :)

  • @K4bishk4 How do you change the fps?

  • @AlexEmerica26 in project copy the file for a backup, then right click, go to modify, then interpret footage click assume this frame rate and then change the value in the box. The original frame rate for your clip is in the box above.

  • i dont have a right click! :(

  • TY

  • How do i choose a part of the movie and make that part go back and forth?

  • @skallepor Yeah I want to know that to. Have you found anything?

  • Thanks man

  • Thank you

  • thanx for the video,

question, i want to save a video in fast speed like 200%, and then gradually goes to 100% at a certain point , and at the same time i want a timer on the video to show the time lapse on the side of the screen, which will speed up with 200% and slows with 100% ????

  • If anyone is using CS4 just right click > time > time stretch or time reverse layer

  • @vPlatinumFearz

use the Razor tool on the right ;D

  • TANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you, You helped me!

  • thanks sooo much....You've really allowed my video to be so much better

  • thanks :)))

  • How do I even add a clip into this. >.<

  • Thanks for the vid mate. but btw, the dislike bar is the time it should've take to tell us how to do it. You spend the like bar =). Just a council

    c ya

  • will it be choppy overall?

  • thank you so much, you're a life savior!

  • So thats how you reverse video!!!

  • @Spikestars117 nice username :D

  • Thanks brother!!! :))

  • Can you make a video tutorial about rendering in HD? PLEASE THANK YOU

  • @ydkiscool

It's easy to render in HD, you just have to hit CMD or ctrl M and choose the settings you want and voila! I suggest if it's for youtube h264 at 24fps to lower your filesize( in cs5 you even got this option)

  • @MrUnknownRevolution i think he said "thats how much of an idiot i am" but yeah it sounded like that lol.

  • Yeah you gotta make your render point on the timeline at the end of your video clip and if it's a red bar that means it's un rendered. if it is red it will play back choppy. if you just press enter it will take time to render, the time it will take to render depends on how long the clip is. If it's rendered it will play perfectly. And word to the wise only render it after your done editing you clip because if you make one small adjustment it will be unrendered and you will render it again.

  • @MrUnknownRevolution I think it's "Bit of an idiot I am"

  • fuck you nerd

  • just wondering if you ever got that chopiness playback problem fixed because that is EXACTLY the problem i have..

  • hey man when u do the backwords do u hear the volume backwords too?

  • I think you can choose "pre render timeline" and then it plays back less choppy/ jerky

  • thanks a ton man

  • i did try to fast foward it by 600% but it wont render. why is it happening?

  • 6 people didn't get it. :D

  • Thanks very nice

  • So simple... haha I couldn't find a way to reverse video... Thanks! :D

  • hey guys i didnt watch this whole video cause i dont have a very long attention span =D but right click the clip you want then click frame blend and choppyness will be gone thumbs this up so it can be helpful

  • THANKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • next time if its choppy. after you do the thing. render the entire work area by clicking secuence and then render entire work area. then when you edit the video just skip to when its rendered

  • I tried this reverse bullshit and it looks like semen is coming out from my mouth.

  • When I do this to make it slowmo, the video comes pixelated and has some weird lines(?) going y- wise all over the video, when i render it some of the shits stay in it and its not very good looking

  • thanks dude

  • Sorry, don't want to sound unfrateful, but you could explain all this in 15 seconds instead of 4 and a half minutes... less chit-chat next time please. Just an advice.

  • thanks man!!! ur great.... im working... :))))) regards sri lanka

  • @justthething1984 I don't know in what world you live in, but in earth this are SUPPOSE to be given for free, unless your a scammer with no friends, in fact adobe already provide this info for free in their site; who ever is taking profit from that, really needs to get a life

  • thank u

  • Can you please tell me, how to start with basics...

  • Right click on the video and click Speed and Duration.

  • GET TO THE POINT ffs

  • what if you want to get just one part of the film slowmoted...lets say a skateboarding trick..you dont want the whole thing to be slo just the flip....?

  • @zlickDude You prolly just razor cut the parts that you want to be slo mo so that when you edit the speed you can edit just the part with the trick.

  • The easier way = Get a rubbish computer

  • Keep up good work

  • That was a big help. Thanks so much for posting.

  • thank u dude!

  • thanks a lot for this

  • thanks this was helpful

  • Very helpful! Thanks!

  • if you render it it works fine

  • Great tutorial, thanks. But how do you only slow down/speed up certain parts of the clip?

  • i want to make slo certain part of movie , but whenever i apply changes it effects the whole track ...

how can i edit certain parts?????

  • wht bout freeze frame?

  • @biglikeapig the program costs $1000 no joke!

  • How do you slow motion only part of the video then have the rest regular speed?

  • thank you Luke great video, I wish it was possible to key frame speed like they do in hollywood films. You know, like, it starts fast then gradually slows down to a stop, or going from really fast to sudden slow-mo, then fast again. Oh well maybe one day. thanks again bro.

  • How do you make it stop?

  • i have premiere pro cs3. thank god.

  • @kerns609 its little karal u split where u wanna start and stop bypressink the s key for split=-0

  • @kerns609 you cut the part that you want with the razor

  • i mean program

  • nope, cost (not sure of) is above $700 last i heard.

  • is that porgram free

  • @jawbreaker360 lol no it cost 1000 $

  • Thanks, but can you take it to the next level and do one using time remapping as that gives you more control over the rate of speedup - slowdown etc.

  • dude thanks, your tutorial really help me!!

  • you need more fps, if its choppy then try messing with the controls to get a smoother slow mo

  • @redapple37

when you do slow motion you must make sure that there is enough of empty space after the video u slow, couse if there is another video just behind that one, it will jump few frames couse when u slow ur video it gets longer...

    maybe thats ur problem....

  • use a better cam with higher fps.

  • thx

  • Thanx, useful information.

  • omg 4 min could be 30 sek -.-

  • i tried the slow motion but it also slowd da speed of sound track .can we slow down da video with out slowing the speed of track in cs4

  • How do i make only some parts in the movie or clip go in slowmo? Please do a tutorial.

  • Thank you so much!

  • Can Adobe Premiere give the impression that the video is a first person perspective and make it look as though they are jogging/running? So that the video shakes left to right kinda thing?

  • I never tried that before.

I can only think of the Director has to have the cameraman stand in for the actor (maybe Benny Hill for a good example) so it would be as if we are looking at things through Benny Hill's view but not directly through him but the cameraman.

  • Damn, wont work for Version 6.5 guess i'm out of date!

  • thank you man very nice.

  • thank you very much. helped me a lot.

  • thanks for the tut .. realey helpful :)

  • I wonder if its able to do a cool high-speed close up like in Evil Dead, but not only with speed up, cause it just looks idiotic.. I need to make it shaky aswell.

  • thanks for the tut... i think i'm gonna ditch sony vegas and switch to adobe

  • thanks for the tut but how do I just speed up/down just part of a clip instead of the whole clip? if it's not possible, what is the easiest way to make it look like I sped up/down part of the clip

  • this feature would be beneficial.

  • hey there, thanks for the tutorial man , I have a question. How do you key speed & slow motion? Thanks

  • thanx man

    wer u from ?

    do u have email?

  • Wow, thanks for the tutorial! Just what I was looking for...

  • awesome tutorial, thx for posting :D

  • thanks this s really useful awesome dude 5 stars

  • do you know how to make the slow mo goes smoother?

like, at first the clip go at 100% speed, then it go slower smoothly. like a transition...?

can u make a tutorial for that effect?

  • how do u add effects where you want the effect to be

  • Will the video stay choppy even once you finalize it or put it on youtube, or will it always be choppy?

  • Once you render it, it wont be choppy, it will be very smooth, thats just because of my computer running the program slow.

  • thanks

  • @DiMcoProductions how to render it?

  • @BaKKaNeKKo91 while on everywhere on your workspace hit "enter" key.
