@TheAlleycatboy I think he is messing around with pre-recorded samples from his laptop that are ran through a Pioneer (maybe a DJM-900 Nexus) DJ mixing and effects device. The samples are propably recorded with Korg Electribe -series, MicroKORG and Radias synths. He could also be controlling the synths with the Pioneer device, I'm quite certain only about the equipment used, not how it's connected to eachother. If anyone has more reliable info, please do tell.

I think this video really shows how much the bands on-stage movement contributes to the song's dynamics. In the promo video where they are constantly jumping around it feels a lot more energetic, while here it feels a bit more stale as they can't really move around.

I believe the lack of shikari shuffle might be because they are not allowed to jump around like crazy men in a BBC studio.
