I was really hoping for peace after Iraq and was delighted that Obama won as president and he promised to stop the war...but this is really a big dissapointment. I am really sad for our young men and women who will sacrifice their young lives. God be with them...

I didn't think obama could show any more weakness than he has displayed in the last ten months but I was wrong, here we go again! Either empower the troops with ALL the necessary tools and resources to win or get the hell out! The request for troops was for 2010. This review period didn't cost any lives. The president thinks, decides. Then congress has to approve the action. There's a process. You have no idea what you're talking about.

A platoon of 1500 troops were deployed from Camp La June TODAY to be on the ground in Afghanistan by Christmas and 5 more will be deployed within the next two weeks to be on the ground in Afghanistan by the end of the year, ALL IN 2009, dumbass! The blood of the dead and injured are on obamas hands through his hesitation and dithering and you damn well know it you uneducated, misinformed idiot!

He says the war is for national security then he says we are pulling out troops at a set timeline. This makes no sense. If its for national security what crystal ball is he looking at that says in 2011/2012 the war will be over? He is basically saying, we will fight for national security unless it is really expensive. This just doesn't make any sense. He is trying to appease both sides of the arguement.
