hey man I know you said this video is old but I hope your taste in music got a lot better along with your dj skills cause whatever that shit was you were playing is super gay and sounds like it was from circa 1985. fyi, good djing is also knowing the best music and judging by that it sounded like youve been living under a rock all your life.
to be honest, after a year, the play button starts malfunctioning, I e-mailed denon, they say it has to do with the tac-switches and said they used the best materials for this, it's just something you get with time.
other then that, their are no problems.
but after playing a year and a half with them (about 5-7 hours/week) I begin seeing that these are merly beginner-decks
@superbuny007 thanks for the suggestions. I was going to get the s1200 but then I found a really good deal on the CDJ-350 for the same price so I'm obviously getting that instead. I want to move away from controllers because I want to DJ clubs eventually and think that learning to mix on CDJ is the best way to improve your skills
@jets973 the pioneer looks nicer, but the denons give you more stuff for less money. and the greatest skill in Djing isn't beatmatching,it's feeling the music. If you do this you'll be able to mix about anything on any kind of cd-player
I'm might buy those Dn-S1200, i'm new in djing, is that good stuff to begin with ? Are you satisfied with it ? (sorry if i made mistakes, i'm french ;))
@endorphineLTU great i am so glad as we have ordered 4 players.looking forward to getting my hands on em thanks for info do you use them. i saw a comment on them saying they dont play cd-r and i looked inthe manuel on line it said the sam thing...

@leedoyle100 Had a chance to use them in the past and what I have to say is.. extremely good value for money. The build quality may not be as good as Pioneer (don't get me wrong, I had no technical issues with the unit, just the build materials used.. for example: Play/Cue buttons), but you won't get so much features from any other CD player in the same price range, that's for sure. + they are very compact. Overall.. a great piece of kit :)
@leedoyle100 it was true that it didn't work for some cd-r's with mp3's burned on them, but then there was a firmware update and that fixed it all! I suggust you go directly to 2/4USB's because I used to burn everything on cd's to, but it's a great waste of time: it takes longer to switch cd's and let the player read them then just go to another map on your usb, just a suggestion fcours =p also it's trui wath endorphineLTU sais, great price for these things, only problem is the play/pause button
@leedoyle100 but you'll only start to see that over a year/year&half that it doesn't respond sometimes, nontheless that's easy fixed if you blow in the grooves(?) of the buttons
if you like them, make a video about your setup so people can see that denons are great+low price:D
2x Denon DN-S1200 + Behringer DDM4000?
Ik wist wel dat ik niet alleen op deze wereld was met deze Gear!
Keep up the good work!!

@SpecialD12783
lol, you're right on with this critic about mixing,
Concerning the music, the first track is a remix of an old track, which was popular in my region in 2010
the second track is ghost 'n stuff, one if the greatest electro songs ever made!
3th one was another popular track in 2010: flashback - calvin harris
so I strongly disagree with you, even though I play dutch/fidget house now

after your using them for a year would you still recommend them? are you beginning to have any problems with them?

@superbuny007 what do you mean malfunctioning? like it stops working?
jets973 2 months ago in playlist More videos from superbuny007
@jets973 no, it goes into stuttermode when I don't press play hard enough (normally you'd have to push play 2x to get in stutter mode)
that's the only thing that's mallfunctioning after 2 years of playing with them (1-2hours/day)
superbuny007 2 months ago
@superbuny007 oh okay thats not too bad. i thought it was something worse like it won't start playing sometimes
jets973 2 months ago
@jets973 you can still play with them, I now use the hotcue 1 as play button.

@jets973
my suggestions for budgetted people:
<1000€ : MIDI: Denon DN-C6000
1000-1500€: 2xdenon dn-s1200 + 4channel mixer (I recommend behringer DDM4000)
DONT GO FOR A 2CHANNEL MIXER ONLY IF YOU REALLY WANNA SCRATCH (which you can also do with the ddm4000)!!!
1700-2000€: 2xDenon Dn-s3700 +4Channel mixer (same recomandation)
I wouldn't go for pioneer unless you have to much money. their products are overpriced.
