  • WHY IS THE FHIRST BIRD SPINNING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION???

  • @matijasajko1 the turbine is spinning so fast it makes it look like the turbine is spinning the wrong way

  • "Bird smoke, dont breathe this" =O

  • Why does it seem the bird is going clockwise and the turbine is going anti-clockwise?

  • @ICU2P Camera shutter speed is not fast enough.. Same reason when filming a plane prop or helicoptor blade it looks as if it runs slow, still, or backwards....

  • Mmmmmmmmmmmm, lunch!

  • carousel, free

  • how????? like really.........how stupid could that bird have been

  • Turbine 1- Bird 0, end of game.

  • I haven't seen this video for 5 years!!

  • Lol if you Lol

  • why the second bird rotating to the opposite direction of the turbine?

is job from the first bird?

what the second bird try to do?

does want to first bird to go out or to stay in?

  • Will the extra blade area from the wing sticking out make it spin faster?

___ homemadewindturbine (dot) org ____ for more info and hundreds of videos.

  • LOL

  • How come at the start the brid spun anti clockwise and the turbine spun clockwise?

  • @ICU2P google strobe effect

  • @ICU2P because the bird in one! and the turbine have many lines ;)

in different speed it will give different speed of the 2 "things"

  • I recommend passive 15" domes with bug/bird grid shields. Turbines are ugly, produce noise, get blown off in high winds and since they're open, insects, birds and small rodents can enter your attic. I have 4 domes on my house, best $500 I spent.

  • What if the bird died from vertigo? LOL

  • i heard about that at news: a bird crashed into a wind turbine...the cause was a landing gear failure..there were no survivors :))

  • Birds can get confused because of the fast rotation.

Simply solved by painting a pattern on the blades.

  • what if that bird didn't die on impact and starved to death spinning around?

    what a shitty death !!

  • Ahhh, natural selection at work!

Seriously, any flying creature that can't navigate around an OBVIOUSLY solid object ... well the gene pool is a bit tidier now.

  • wow look at it spinning! attach a generator to the birds ass and the energy crisis is solved!!!

  • Faut vriament aller chercher pour se mettre la dedans

  • OMG!!! wat was he thinking???

  • I know I shouldn't laugh but I am....

  • House goes OM NOM NOM!

  • Romeo and Juliet

  • Comment removed

  • 1 flew into the coocoos nest

  • everyone always yells duck! i guess any bird is a danger

  • shit! my lunch!!!

  • Well, bird IS the word.

  • did you flip the bird as you released it?

  • until 00:09 it looks like its rotating counter clockwise to me

  • Beak -areful!

  • Poor Baby

  • That's so sad. I hope I don't end up looking like that when I die.

  • Curiosity killed the bird !!!!!!

  • This is not actually a wind turbine it is a vent!

  • LOL

  • don't drink when you fly

  • @ShwangShwing

    lol

  • Omg! Is the turbine okay?! Really, did those stupid flying rats cause any damage to it?

  • ok, this blows my mind. how (0:04) is the thing spinning one way and the bird the other?!?

  • @popstoastymonkey Stare into a fan blade a sit turns on, eventually the blade will be spinning just fast enough to appear like it's spinning in reverse, but just for a second.

  • @popstoastymonkey its actually spinning forwards realy fast, its like when you look at a moving cars wheels and it looks like their spinning backwards.

  • @Dalemoooooon Only fast enough to sync with the camera.

  • @Britton529 Maybe.... but then why do car wheels look like their turning backwards when you look at them in real life?.... fucking physics :(

  • @Dalemoooooon Are you referring to when this happens on tv or can you just run really fast?

  • @Britton529 Im referring to when the car is moving and your looking at its wheels/hub caps, when the car is going fast it looks like the wheels are going backwards.

  • @Dalemoooooon Because the camera can only take so many "pictures" (frames) per second. Let's say a camera captures a frame when one of the wheel's spokes is pointed straight down. If the wheel is spinning at the right speed, the spoke can rotate all the way around to the point where it's just behind where it was before the camera captures another frame. So every time the camera captures a frame, the spoke looks like it moved right behind where it was. Your eyes work the same way.

  • @anon01111 I know ^^

  • @popstoastymonkey

It's just because the time that each vent opening passes is faster than the framerate of the camera that is filming it. The turbine is really turning clockwise.

  • Podejrzewam że miłośnicy ptaków będą się awanturować , że maszyna zabiła ukochanego ptaszka !

  • is the turbine died ?

  • @ww2footage What? What the hell are you talking about?

  • you are dead

    not big surprise

  • o passaro gira pra um lado e o negosso pro outro e ne mta tão rapido o.o

  • what a way to go...

  • XD that bird!!

  • Maybe the dead bird was the one doing the rescuing.

  • poor birdy. D: *Silence* All well who wonts bird stew! lol

  • In soviet russia turbines are stuck into birds.

  • Ouwwwwch........

  • xD lol

  • Thanks for rescuing the other one.

  • Yes. The first bird was dead

  • Did the first bird die?

  • what a emo bird

  • wtf

  • lol

  • Poor bird, but when i saw it i was first: WTF? and then LMAO !.

  • is it just me or did anyone else see the way it looks like at first the turbines were spinning in the opposite direction slowly lol wierd illusion

  • HAha! how the hell did that happen!

  • Poor thing

  • lmfao stupid fucking bird

  • That !@#$ had it coming... Bloody pigeon nicked my quarter!

  • it was a robbery gone wrong.

  • Hahaha, this video is the proof that turbines are a hazard for the fauna, not so green technology after all.

  • @kanzzon No. Just birds are stupid.

P.S. Crows are really smart though.

  • r.i.p pollito, condolencias para el otro pollo.....

  • ROFLMAO!

  • ha ha

  • bloody turben~

  • DIZZY!!!

  • hes just sleeping, he didnt die, hes just sleeping :( :( :(

  • "hmm this looks like a great nesting site," Bird

  • poor bird.

  • haha the power of windex strikes again!

  • hes just napping!

  • @nx2overide pining for the fjords is he?

  • That's why we call them whirlybirds lol

  • Starlings suck

  • @megan130 lol. yet you take your time answering them lawl

  • @megan130 Learn how to type you illiterate fucking cunt.

  • @megan130 lawl...dumb ass

  • @Gemadi Damn right she's a dumb ass. She can't spell for shit.

  • holy crap!

  • Bad day to be a stupid starling...

  • take it, fucking pidgeon!

  • I found this vid while looking at wind gens, It gave me an idea, why not put generator motors under those things? These things are sensitive to even the slightest breeze. This gives me an idea for building my next house, put like 10 of them on the roof and install a treadmill motor under all of them, link them to a circuit controller and then to a battery inverter system.

  • what do you think wind turbines are for?

that is exactly what they do.

  • lol that was how i stumbled across this as well, im sure thats why he has so many hits.

  • @UGLandrum Load a ventilator turbine down with a generator, chance are no longer sensitive to the slightest breeze. Probably not enough torque to break the magnetic fields lock on on the rotor.

  • hahahah :D..aww:(

  • I wonder if it was inside the roof and tried to get out right there?

  • I have 2 balls like this but never had a bird inside, strange. BTW some places call those revolving balls whirlybirds.

  • Great survival tool

  • What a sad end! these things make me cry.

  • @megan130 Go fuck yourself cunt. Do the world a favor and GTFO youtube.

  • lol what did megan say?

  • @LizzyAston She hasn't said a word to me since i posted my reponses to her.

  • @megan130 What a grumpy little cunt you are. The whole @ thing is what youtube is supposed to do when you click on reply on someone elses comment you dumb fucking cunt. Also make me mind my own business you stupid whore. This is the internet deal with it.

  • LOOOL

  • User megan130 has enabled friend lock. You will not be able to send messages to them unless they add you as a friend.

  • @ronnyber

Is it a spy from "companies" trying to eliminate all free energy?

  • that thing looks turning to th right butits turning to the left

  • stupid birds

  • SAW IT! its kinda on the left of the turbine

  • the one inside may be scared to move. The one you can clearly see is dead.

  • LOL.... RIP that litte bird :(

  • YEEEEEEEEEEEAHH

  • sucks to be it

  • Poor little basterd.....

  • xD gaile landung >_>

  • nice

  • HAHAHAH OWNED

  • "oooh shiney!..."

  • Dumb starlings. They crapped up my back yard a few years ago by nesting in my trees. They chased off other nesting birds, and make a ton of noise all day! Happily, they have not been back. I need some starling eating turbines on MY roof!!!!

  • hahaha he was like WTF!

  • HAHAHAHAHA! disgusting invasive species,

  • Ich finds toll,.. Wie technik sich mit der natur verbindet,...

    man man man

  • Und auf den Titel haste ned geachtet oder was hast du erwartet wenn da Starling vs. the Turbine

steht?.

    man man man

  • wow i think i just found a bird stupider than the dodo bird...

  • thats funny

  • this is very real looking

    is it for sale?

  • lol, why not have these with a mesh over them?

  • I was about to say the same thing as joecooper18, A little bit of common sense would of prevented this!

  • well thats why in Australia we call them Wherly Birds. and not roof Turbines

  • same thing hapened to me

  • that is just wrong

  • LOL

  • HAhahaha¨!Poor creature!

  • The bird was only trying to find a "warm" place to bed down...don't you feel sadden that you didn't bore a 1-1/2" hole on the side gable....make things right...birds need inside your building too!

  • Aww yea that's very reasonable... can I charge them rent too? Ummm, like 2 handfulls of various seed per month should suffice. :)

  • poor thing...

  • Almost romantic.

  • Sorry my daughter just started pressing buttons

  • Im pretty sure you dont got a daughter at the age of 13.

  • in australia we call those vents whirly birds now i know why

  • What do you assies call it when you flip the bird

  • ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahhaahahahahahahahahahhahaahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

  • puir wee thing

  • AAH!!

  • lol

  • What specifically do you call this kind of turbine? I am planning to modify and let it generate electricity in my home.

  • Nice

  • Hi whats the porpose of those wind turbines?

  • These devices are to draw hot air inside buildings out of the building. It is a very effective and cost-saving mechanism.

  • GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Starlings are not native to the U.S. and are pests. They have caused the decline of many native bird spieces. They deserve no protection. Also, this is evolution in action. This incompetent bird is not procreating, although I wish the dumb ones would.

  • poor bird

  • Is it feasible to put a protective wire mesh around the turbine?

  • moron

  • So you think the bird is an; "moron".

I'm inclined to agree with you but the first word that comes to mind EVERY time I see or hear about a bird flying into a turbine -- and specifically a wind turbine -- is *dumbass*, not moron! These are poor dumb creatures who simply can't help themselves from committing suicide by plate glass or a turbine or prop, etc. And they don't need your name calling. That just does further damage to their already LOW self-esteem.

  • "they just cant help themself from comitting siucide? LOL

    they just LOVEEE suicide

  • In 1898 a dozen breeding pair of Starlings were imported from Europe and released in NY's Central Park! Now look! They are a noisy, rapacious, aggressive species that caused declines in native song birds such as the Eastern American Bluebird by taking nesting sites and food sources. One nested in my rural mailbox crapping on my mail - refused to stay out. Finally had to kill it which took much effort. Will nest anywhere, weather anything, and eat anything. Are a plague in the bird kingdom!
